Chapter 1

Throughout my life everyone that I know hated me. Hate, for lack of better words, can be compared to anger and betrayal. 'Hate' is a word that people use lightly. "Oh, I hate it when..." "I hate that..." but hate; hate is indescribable. It is what turns the sweetest of people to the angriest.

Hate is what makes the hero turn into the villain. It is the feeling that makes you wonder "Would I feel anything if I were to kill this person? Would I feel sadness? Anger? Would I feel like my shoulders have been lifted?"

Hate is powerful, but what people try not to say, is that even though your hate is huge and you know the answer to the questions above, hate can motivate us. People tell you "Never hate someone." "To hate someone, means that they have power over you." But  it can help us to be the better person. It can be good or bad, but its your decision.

I'm, Lee Soo Mi, 16 years old live with my parents and I have a older brother that I hate a lot. Enough of this crappy introduction of me. Long story short people hates me.

"Hurry up, Soo Mi... I want my Ice cream right now" Soo Bin yelled  towards me. Yoo Soo Bin my only friend I have. Everyone in my life hates me so I pushed them away in the best way I can. Soo Bin knows the real me but, no one else knows it. Not even my own Family. They think I'm a spoilt brat who treats people badly. Yes they not wrong I am that.

We were in a park walking my dog. My dog, Cinnamon. She reacts to bags blowing in the wind the same way she does for squirrels. Though she pulls when we walk but stops if the leash is dropped on the ground.

"Can you wait.. I'm trying to get the ice cream" I yelled back at her. I handed her the ice cream and continuing walking the dog. At one point we sat on a brown wooden bench to take a rest. I looked at the sky and wondered what will my life be.

"Let's go" I shouted at her again. She just nodded with no words escaping from her mouth . She knows I didn't mean to shout at her. I pulled her forcefully and continued to walked cinnamon again.

"I'm hungry again" Soo Bin said as her tummy rumble.

"AHH!! ... stopped it already stop whining you pissed of- nevermind.. I get you a hotdog.. Happy" I said harshly to her because I was annoyed that she was whining a lot and I offhandedly as I rummage through my purse to search for my money but as I rummaging through I didn't see my phone that was usually in it at the place I always put it " It must be here somewhere". I continued to searched for it "Damn it where is it?" I said with frustration.

"Soo Mi I'm hungry" She said while getting my attention.

"Yes I know" I said and get the hotdog for her. "I lost my phone now" I was so mad.

"Maybe it's at the bench earlier" she replied while eating her hotdog.

"Maybe whatever" I went to the bench but, I stopped because I saw two people that I never want to see again. "That's Yi Soo and Chanyeol.. Why are they here?" I question myself without hesitation I walked to them leaving Soo Bin alone with my dog.

As I was walking down the pathway of the park. She saw me and walked towards me.

"Hey watched where you're going" I said to her.

"You too" she  replied.

"Oh Yi Soo hey there" I said with a smirk.

Why is she with him. Why Chanyeol?. Why does she always with someone I know and to make it worse he's my ex boyfriend.

"Hey Yi Soo long time no see" she said happily. I wasn't actually. I hate her so much.

I just walked away from them and walked to the bench to find my phone. "Where is it?" I searched high and low for it. Then I stumbled upon a phone. This must be mine. It have the same model. I picked it up and put it in my purse.

I get up and walked to my best friend who has been holding on to my dog. She just smile and said" Thank you Soo Mi".

"For what, I did nothing" I replied and I was confused.

"Nothing" and we walked home together.

"Wait, did you find it? "she said to me.

" Yeah I did"I replied back.

I was in front of my house door. I take a deep breath and unlocked the door.
I saw that my dad and my mom are fighting again. What else is new. I saw my brother playing video games.

" I'm home" I yelled and no one noticed. I came to my brother and closed his laptop and sticked my tongue out at him. He was angry and about to hit me I caught his hands and said"Nice to see you again brother".

He replied with"I really hate you.. You know that" and I replied with"I know" and went up stairs to be away from him and went to my room.

I was lying on my bed, lay down and be enveloped by the warmth of silence. Whether I  wanted to rest permanently or not, I  did not know. I never would have though silence would be considered warm but there I  was laying in my bed prepared to be swept away by the hope that her sleep would be filled by light.

I was still thinking of what happened today. I have met Yi Soo. Wow it had been a really long time since I last saw her. Last time I checked me and her I did something to her. Yeah I did. Why is she with him, Chanyeol? I thought to myself. I looked at the time and opened the covers. And cover my body to go to sleep. As I was about to go to sleep, I heard a ring from the phone. I immediately picked it up from the bedside table.

"Who ever you are make it quick" I said angrily.

"Hello" I forze from a sudden voice. The person voice has a deep tone. It's a guy's voice.

"Who are you?"I  replied to him. I'm still curious. I never had his number before. Maybe he dial the wrong number.

"I supposed to say that" he said.

"I'm the owner of the phone you are holding "he immediately replied back.

" What! you have my phone" I said loudly. I get the phone and looked at the screen and I see a different wallpaper. This really is not my phone.
