Chapter 18: Time vs. Water

Outside, Acronix walked down the stairs of Borg Industries just as police cars arrive, and stop at the bottom of the stairway before the officers get out and aim their guns at him as Cole puts a bullhorn to his mouth. "Acronix Tempus!" He said with his voice being loud via the bullhorn as a crowd of people started appearing behind them, and some officers try to stop them from coming any closer. "We have the building surrounded! You are under arrest!"

Acronix then laughed at Cole's demand. "I have been waiting 20 years for this moment." He replied, holding up the Teapot of Tyrahn, shocking all the officers.

"And you'll be waiting another 20 years before you have the chance..." Minnie's voice was heard as Acronix turned to see the Samurai I mech land behind him with Minnie inside it. "...daddy."

"Minerva!"

"It's time that you surrender now, or prepare to be stopped in your tracks."

"I like to see you try, daughter." He immediately raised his right hand, immediately disappearing. As the officers and Cole start looking around for Acronix's reappearing spot. A torrent of water passes by them, hitting something behind them. They all look to see that Acronix was on the ground, completely wet from the water blast before he looked to see that it was Cliff, who blasted him down. When he did, it surprised the Ninja, Minnie, Cole and the officers before they prepare to arrest Acronix, but he quickly got up, and held out his left hand, firing a Stop beam, which freezes them all in place. "So, the young samurai has the Water Element now."

"Which I unlocked because I am not just some regular kid." Samurai I replied as he, the Ninja and Minnie, still in the samurai mech, came down to him, and poise. "I am a hero."

"Well then, hero. Let me show you something I already did, or what you think I did." He looks down at the teapot to see the symbol on it was out of alignment. "Arise, Nadakhan." He turns the middle part to align the symbol on the teapot. "And grant me my three wishes." He raises it high as orange smoke started coming out of it.

The Ninja, Samurai I and Minnie see the smoke forming into none other than Nadakhan the Djinn, who laughs. "Freedom!" He said as he held his arms out, causing the crowd to scream and run away.

"Nadakhan, I, Acronix Tempus, Master of Time, have freed you from your prison, and I want my three wishes.""What do you wish, Master of Time?"

"For my first wish, I wish to send all Elemental Masters into the teapot." This time, gold specks don't appear around him. "Both current and former."

"Your wish..." He briefly looked at the five ninja, the young samurai and the daughter of the man who released him before looking back at Acronix. "...is denied."

"What?"

"Cliff Walker, the young samurai, has made a wish for me to disobey you."

"I don't remember that."

"You don't because to you and the other Elemental Masters, you don't remember at all because I made my second wish to turn back time." Samurai I said while placing his hands on his helmet, lowered his head, pulls the helmet off, and looks back up to show his real face. "But I know everything." Most of the crowd who came back gasped at the sight of who Samurai I really was.

"You little brat!" Acronix throws the teapot aside, making it shatter once it hits the road. "I will make you use your last wish to resurrect my brother." He holds up his right hand, immediately disappearing.

Quickly thinking of a solution, Minnie turned to Nadakhan as gold specks appear around her. "I wish to strip Acronix of his power, and I wish to have it for my own."

"Two wishes at the same?" He asked. "They are yours to keep."

Acronix then appeared from behind the Red and Black Ninja, making them all turn to see him about to fire his Stop beam, but nothing comes out. "What?" He asked.

"Missing something?" Minnie asked as he turned to see her come out of the mech, and fired a Stop beam.

Quickly jumping out of the way as the beam hits a nearby cop, Acronix looked at his hands. "My powers! They're gone!"

"Now you're a regular man once again, father. I am the new Master of Time!"

"I may no longer be an Elemental Master anymore, but I can still fight!"

He soon started to charged at the Blue Ninja, who quickly caught the Sword of Sanctuary from her brother, looked at the blade, and faces him with determination. Acronix tries to punch her, but she moved aside, forces him down before vaulting over him, turned around, and kicked him, knocking him on the ground. He quickly turned to see the Red and Black Ninja charging at him, on each side, immediately spinning into Spinjitzu tornadoes, and prepare to attack him, but Acronix somersaults away from them, making them hit each other, dispersing their tornadoes, and lie back on the ground. The Green Ninja immediately charged at him with his bo staff, but Acronix quickly caught hold of it, forcing him off the ground, and over him before landing on his back while the former Time Master held his bo staff. He turned to the White Ninja, who took the Sword of Sanctuary from the Blue Ninja, and ran at her. Looking at the blade, the Nindroid turned the sword around to block the strike, and moved around to strike him from behind, but Acronix moved his stolen weapon back, jabbing her before turning back around, and struck her, knocking her down while the Sword of Sanctuary lands close by. Just as he was about to head over to it, throwing the bo staff away as he did so, a Spinjitzu tornado strikes him, knocking him away from it, picking up the sword at the same time before the wielder stopped, and Acronix saw it was Cliff. "It's over, Tempus." He said, holding the sword out at him, and clutched his wound as the blood was now down to his left hip.

"You costed me my chance at resurrecting my brother, my chance to rule Ninjago, and now you've manipulated my daughter to your side!"

"Wrong. She did it by herself. She did it, because she loves me." He turns to Minnie, who smiles at him, and he smiled back before looking back to glare at Acronix. "And I love her."

"A dreadful bond."

"No." Minnie said, coming up next to Cliff. "You don't know love, or friendship." Gold specks soon appear around her. "And I wish for you to surrender immediately."

"Your wish..." Nadakhan said aloud as Minnie realised she used her final wish. "...is yours to keep." Gold specks soon appear around Acronix, who is suddenly forced onto the ground.

"NNNOOOOO!" He yelled as he tried to get up, and Cole and the officers came up behind Cliff and Minnie.

Glaring at the former Elemental Master, Cliff turned to Cole, and held the Sword of Sanctuary out to him. "Take him." He said as Cole soon took the sword, and walked away with Minnie joining him while the officers came over to Acronix, and handcuff him.

The crowd soon cheered as Cliff and Minnie came back over to the Ninja, who remove their hoods, and wave at most of them as photographers started taking photos while Mandy hugged her samurai brother. "Cliff!" Nya was heard as they turn around to see her and her one eyed husband running over to them.

"Mom!" Cliff said as Jay stopped to allow Nya to hug their samurai son for both his victory, and out of relief."Oh, you had me so worried."

"Dilara." A familiar voice called out, causing them to turn and look at Nadakhan.
