It was more of a shock than I thought it would be, when the music blared throughout the entire gym. Bakugo smashed down on the drums and the dancers up front began their practiced routine.

The strums from the guitar wrung so loud I could feel it, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Their music gave off a feeling of pure excitement. Bakugo had told me about what they were doing for the cultural festival before - and it was a serious extreme compared to my classes bake sale that would be going on later.

I blinked, Aoyama sprayed his laser around the room, and with ice shards created by Todoroki and floating by Uraraka, they glimmered as they reflected the light.

It was amazing, the music, the energy, the noise would usually give me a headache, but at this moment I didn't want to hear anything else.

I blinked back tears, thanking myself and thanking Bakugo, that I was alive right now to see this.

I smiled up at the customer, they bowed lightly in reply to me before taking their brownies and running off to join their friends. Luckily my shift was one of the first ones, so I had more time later this afternoon to walk around and see everything. I sighed lightly, already done with this, but I smiled and greeted the next customer anyways.

"You made the cupcakes, right?" Bakugo asked, pointing to the vanilla cupcakes, white icing and purple and red sprinkles. I had made them in the dorms, so he knew.

"Oh, yeah." I nodded.

"I'll have one of them then. That's all." He handed me his change and took the cupcake, "Now your shift is over. Lets go." He demanded.

I chuckled lightly, though my eyes widened as he shoved the entire cup cake into his mouth at once, chewing as he glared at the wall, as if judging the taste.

I swallowed, reaching back to untie my apron, "A-alight, Iwazumi-sensei! I'll be off!"

"Alright! Stay safe!" My teacher called back, waving fast and grinning while she ran around to make sure everything was going well, pretending like she wasn't 'taste testing' everything the students had made.

"I will." I slipped off my apron and rounded the table to meet Bakugo, who insisted I walked behind him for some reason.

He asked me if there was any place I wanted to go, but I was more or less just hoping to walk around and maybe buy some sweets, and when I shook my head it didn't dawn on me that that was the worst thing I could have done to reply to the male. Not until he brought me to the haunted house, that is.

"Bakugo... really?" I asked, frowning.

"Hell yeah. What? You too chicken?"

I rose a brow, "As if."

He walked in, and his grin seemed to get bigger every time I jumped away from the students popping out of nowhere with fake blood all over them.

I groaned, refraining from clinging onto the asshole who put me in this situation. Either way though, this haunted house wasn't as bad as getting kidnapped and tied down by villains - and I knew Bakugo would protect me if someone were to hurt me.

After the haunted house finally ended, I took the lead and dragged Bakugo to get some food. There was a fried squid stand, and when I went to pay he shoved his money in front of me,

"What are you doing? You don't have to-"
"Shut up."

I mouthed an 'okay' and backed down from him, letting him pay for the food. I took the two sticks with a smile and handed one to him, leading him over to a lone bench away from the main crowd so we could eat in peace.

"You really didn't have to pay." I said again as he ate.

"You've spent enough money on me, buying me dumb gifts. So, now we're even."

I hummed as I chewed, understanding his reasoning. He could have just said that before, instead of telling me to shut up. What a weirdo.

I decided to change the subject, asking him about their show preparations, and wondering aloud if he would have been an option for vocals. He laughed, mumbling 'yeah right', saying how playing the drums was better than singing anyways, but I still teased him about how his voice might have sounded.

"Can you even sing?" He dared to ask, changing the topic from him back to me. Surprisingly, he didn't yell at me to stop teasing.

"I think I'm pretty decent at it."  I shrugged, smirking.

"Yeah right! Sing then, and I'll make sure you're not tone deaf."

"O-oh... well... do you know Aimer?"

"Hah? I listen to hard rock."

I sighed, "Alright, alright, whatever. This is a verse from one of her songs."

I hesitated, taking a breath,

"The song we've sung, kaze ni fukare.
Can we sing along? Sugu ni kieta... Ano hi no neiro, doko ni aru no~
"Furueta koe de, tsunaida nooto ni~
Omoide dake wo kakitometa,
arifureta uta to, dareka ni warawarete mo~ wherever you are now, I give you all my..."

I stopped, freezing up slightly as Bakugo leaned in towards me. It was as if he'd lost his senses, but I didn't make any move to push him away when he pressed his lips to mine.

It lasted barley five seconds, and he pulled away slowly. I stared at him, his eyes for once didn't look angry at all, and my eyes widened as I took in what had just happened.

He kissed me, he kissed me and he wasn't yelling that he didn't mean it. He wasn't screaming for me to forget it, or that it was an accident or some other stupid excuse.

It wasn't an accident, Bakugo kissed me.
His lips moved but no sound came out, and my heart pounded as I wondered if maybe I should say something first.

"Bakugo! Hey man, we were just looking for you!" Kirishima yelled, snapping the both of us out of it, we turned back to look at the red head as he ran up to us, "Hey, Mitsuha! What were you guys doing?"

"Nothing!" Bakugo barked.

I held up my squid, still unfinished, "Eating fried squid." I replied calmly, irking the male beside me.

Kirishima chuckled, "Oh, I see. Well, come on already! The others are waiting."

I nodded, standing up with Bakugo and following the two back to where the others were, luckily Mina was with the other boys waiting and she greeted me happily, glad that I was there to join her so she didn't have to 'listen to the boys idiocy alone'.

"What were you and Bakugo doing?" She teased, poking my cheek.

"NOTHING! Back off already!"

"Jeez, why are you getting so worked up Bakugo? It's like you've got somethin' to hide?" Sero asked, Kaminari snickering behind him as he threatened them with explosions.

I sighed, knowing he was embarrassed, "We were just eating squid." I answered them, much to their dismay.

"Are you sure? It doesn't seem like that's all it was."

I decided to play dumb, "What do you mean? What else would we be doing?"

They hung their heads, and finally, let it go. I glanced at Bakugo, who glanced back at me before quickly looking away. Frowning slightly, I decided to leave him be. Maybe it was an accident, or an impulse that he wished he didn't act on.

We were just teenagers after all, and so for now, I'll pretend it didn't happen.
