A few days later when I headed out to return to watch class 1-A at work, Aizawa sensei invited me to meet his class formally before they began their training session. The class seemed to be expecting me, and I took a deep breath and ignored the imitation of their stares.

"Hello, my name is Mitsuha Iume, I'm here at UA for quirk studies. I've been studying all of your quirks since the beginning of the year for my class. It's nice to finally meet you all!"

"Wow! Quirk studies, that's really cool, Iume-san." I rose from my light bow to excited eyes.
"Thank you, Midoriya-san." I smiled lightly to him and his eyes widened.

"How do you know all of our names?" Todoroki asked.

I blinked, "Oh, um, well you see I have uh..." I glanced at Aizawa, who just looked back at me.
I sighed, "I've been spying on you during your training. I know all of your names and all of your quirks."

"Wow no way! I've never seen you!" Uraraka claimed.

"I've never really seen you either... where..." Yaoyorozu muttered to herself, finger on her chin in thought.

"You've really been watching us all this time?!" Kaminari cried.

"What a beautiful girl to be admiring us!"

"I was never admiring you, pervert." I hissed in reply to Mineta, and when he began to cry all the other boys burst out laughing.

Well, except for Todoroki and Bakugo, who just looked rather disgusted.

Midoriya ran up to me, asking if we could talk about quirks together and compare notes, since he's always been into quirk studies. I smiled and agreed, pulling out my own notebook to show him.

He took it like he was holding onto some ancient gold artifact that was one of it's kind, and he began muttering incoherency as he carefully flipped through the pages. It was a little weird and kind of unsettling, but I did my best to stay cool about it.

"Mitsuha, right?" I looked up to Todoroki as Midoriya continued to mumble.

"Yeah. Thanks again for saving me that day, Todoroki-kun."

His eyes widened slightly at the suffix, but he did nothing to shut it down, only nodding in reply, "I'm glad your okay." He continued, "I hope you're not too afraid to come back."

"Of course not! I love... visiting you guys. Even though I'm not actually, ahem, visiting you."
A smile finally cracked it's way onto the bi-colour haired male, and I found myself a bit lost in his eyes. I'd never been close enough to see that they were two different colours.

"Iume-san! This book is amazing!" Midoriya cried, interrupting us.

I jumped slightly, "Thanks alot, Midoriya-san! I'd love to see you're notes one day as well."
He nodded quickly, "May-maybe we can sit together at l-lunch!"

"Yeah!" Uraraka jumped in, "Sit with us at lunch, Iume-san! We'd love to get to know you!"

Mina and Tsuyu nodded behind her, "We'd like to ask some questions about your studies on us as well." Tsuyu added.

"Alright, I will. Oh, and please just call me Mitsuha."

"Mitsuha-chan it is!" Mina giggled.

The second I sat down at a booth with a grinning Uraraka, the small spot crowded like moths to a lamp. I sat chewing my food with wide eyes as yet another person tried to squeeze into the booth space that was really only big enough for two people, but had managed four on each side to accommodate for the lazy Class 1-A students - which were Mina, Mineta (who was kicked off and replaced by Sero) who were squishing me and Uraraka together, and on the other side were Kaminari and Aoyama.

"So, Mitsuha-chan!" Uraraka began as Kirishima dragged Bakugo over to the party, Todoroki stood beside Momo and Jiro, Hagakure giggled at something Ojiro mumbled under his breath and- damn - even Koda was here, "Tell us, what's quirk studies like?!"

"Yeah! Did you have to write papers on us and stuff?"

"Well, I do write reports everyday that I go to study you guys." I nodded, swallowing, "Right now in class I mainly study the history of quirks and how they developed over time. But I'm a lot more interested in studying how quirks effect people and how different quirks can be used. More so what Midoriya focuses on, I think." I exclaimed, turning to glance at him as he tensed at the sound of his name,

"You write about the students quirks, their limits and their possible uses, as well as different ways they can be defeated right?"

"Y-yeah! That's exactly what I do!"

"Whoa! Sounds like you're way ahead of the game, Iume-san!" Kaminari chuckled, "You must be a grade A student huh?"

"Yeah, I kind of am..." I giggled in reply, scratching my cheek lightly.

"What's you're quirk, Mitsuha?" Mina asked, "Since you know all of ours."

"Oh right. Here, I'll show you. One of you try to touch me."

The group around me hesitated for a moment, before a bunch of them all shoved their hands towards me at once. I put up a small barrier around my head, shoulders and upper arms, not wanting to shove anyone off the bench since we were so crammed.

There was merely a second of peace and quiet as their hands hit my shield before they erupted like a volcano. Jeez, no wonder Aizawa is so crusty all the time.

"That's so cool! So you can block all types of power quirks right?" Midoriya asked, eyes glowing, "Does it block mind quirks?!"

"N-no, like lets say if someone had a mind reading quirk, they'd still be able to read my mind if I had my shield up." I replied as Midoriya shoved his lunch tray out of the way and started scribbling words into his notebook in a rather aggressive manner, mumbling to himself once again.

"Damn, that's a really good defensive quirk. Why didn't you join the hero course?"

I frowned, "Well... I was more passionate about this. Behind the scenes kind of deal, you know?"

"Speaking of behind the scenes," Yaoyorozu began as she held up a finger, "Do you study hero costumes and their connections and advantages to enhancing peoples quirks?"

"Yeah!" I smiled, "Iwazumi-sensei, my homeroom teacher says that we get more into that in later years depending on our more preferred destination for a future career, but I've looked into it."

"Even with us?" Kirishima asked, "Who's costume do you think is best? Worst?"

I hummed in thought, staring at my forgotten lunch, "Well, each of your costumes suit you well, and I think that minor changes will be added as you grow and get stronger. The only suit I think that will need a complete change over is Todoroki's."

I glanced over to him and he seemed shocked, and maybe even a little upset - I couldn't tell,
"You think so?" He asked.

I nodded, hesitant to say anything more. Did I hurt his feelings?

"Maybe we could talk about it later." He gave me a second of a smile and I smiled back before I decided to change the mood to something lighter.

"Also, I think one of my favourites is Kirishima's. But!" I interrupted as he started cheering for himself, "Only because of one particular thing I find funny about his costume."

Uraraka tilted her head and hummed in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"Well, it's like this..." I took a deep breath, and lowered my voice to imitate some street salesman, "You've heard of sleeveless shirts, now get ready for! Shirtless sleeves!"

I stopped, blinking as they silenced, and I looked around to see if maybe that was the dumbest thing they've ever heard, but once again they erupted into loud laughs and Kirishima hung his head in embarrassment.
