I was invited back to the police station when they arrested my father. The detective that's been working specifically on my case led me into the back room where we would watch my fathers interrogation silently.

Luckily it hadn't begun yet, and I looked around as the detective talked with another officer in hushed voices,

"Where's my mom?" I asked, turning to look at her.

The detective had blonde hair tied back and bright blue eyes, and somehow reminded me of Monoma from class 1-B, "She... didn't want to come, I'm afraid."

I nodded hastily, turning back to look through the one way glass as another officer walked into the room and sat across from my father, setting a file down.

It became eerily silent as we watched and carefully listened to everything that was being said.

The detective asked a series of questions, starting with the 'why'. Surprisingly enough, he was completely honest. Not even once did he attempt to deny anything to protect himself from the sentences he would no doubt receive, admitting who he hired, why he hired them, and who he was working with.

The league of villains, just as I'd predicted.
Only when the detective moved to ask about the villain organization did my father shut his mouth, only saying "I've said enough" over and over until the detective got fed up and decided he had finished.

I stepped out, standing to the side with the detectives hand on my shoulder as I watched my father get cuffed. They stopped walking when they passed me, since he turned to look down at me, smiling hastily.

"You'll understand soon enough, Mitsuha-chan. I love you." He smiled.

How dare you. Was all I could think, as I clenched my fists and told myself not to cry, How dare you think you could say you loved me with such a smile after all that you've done!

My head was spinning when I got back to the dorms. Aizawa greeted me at the door and asked how it went, and I just looked at him, not really sure what to say. The last thing I wanted to do in that moment was cry, so I held it back and took one large shaky breath - managing to say that he admitted to everything with a steady voice.

Aizawa didn't pry any more, saying that they were prepping dinner right now, I walked in and was shocked to see all of Class B sitting around with everyone, talking and giggling as Iida screamed in the background what we would all be eating for dinner.

The idea of it all was exciting, it was like having a bunch of guests over at your house on a holiday, and the atmosphere was full of joy.

But I couldn't really feel any of it.

"Hey, Mitsuha." Bakugo called out, stepping up in front of me, "You took forever. What happened in there?"

I stared at the male, his eyes were a gorgeous red colour, and even though he looked slightly uninterested I knew he was probably the opposite, or he never would have asked.

I wanted him to hug me again, like when I cried after my dad was found out. I wanted him to kiss me again, cutting me off from what I was doing just so he could feel his lips on mine.

He looked so harsh and complicated, but he was soft and gentle and he was... my hero. But he probably didn't actually care.

"Hello? Are you deaf or something?" He grumbled, his eye brow twitching in annoyance.

I sighed, "Just call me at dinner."

"Hah?"

I ignored his obvious confusion, walking around him and heading straight for my room so I could relax for a little bit and clear my head before dinner. Everything that had happened was still racing through my mind, and I needed some time to distract myself - I would study - but it seems more likely that I'll be thinking about Bakugo.

"HEY!" I gasped, turning quickly around when the male caught grip of my wrist, stopping me from going any further, "A-are you just gonna pretend that never happened?!"

I blinked, my mind going blank suddenly, "What... what are you?"

"The kiss- god, dammit, you idiot!" He yelled, his cheeks a bright pink, "I kissed you, don't you remember?!"

"Y-you actually..." I paused to swallow, feeling my face get hot as well, "I just- I mean, I thought you didn't want to talk about it?"

"Of course I did! I was just waiting for you but clearly, you're too dense!"

"Well I'm sorry I can't read your mind you asshole!"

"Who are you calling an asshole?! You nerd!"

"You!" I tried to glare at him, but his pissed off expression just seemed funny to me.

I completely forgot about the interrogation and my fathers words, snorting lightly before I burst out laughing, my hand coming up to cover my mouth. Bakugo's grip on my wrist loosened as I giggled, and instead of yelling at me for it he just let me laugh.

When I finally pursed my lips and shut up, he took a breath and shoved his hands in his pockets, "Look. I get it, we're still first years - and I don't even have my provincial hero license yet. If you don't want a relationship, I'm fine with it."

I frowned, looking at him disappointedly.

"What?" He asked, glancing down at me.

"Well it's just... you didn't really confess." I shrugged.

"HAH?"

"I want you to say you like me."

"Wha?! I- we kissed, is that not enough?!"

"Nope. I wanna hear you say it."

"F-fine! I like you, dipshit, now go out with me!"

I laughed lightly, grinning at his own special way of confessing. Of course, I didn't really expect anything super romantic and sweet or anything like that, and frankly this was just fine for me since I never really preferred things like this to be public and dramatic.

My grin turned to a smirk, and I crossed my arms and looked up to him confidently as he rose a brow in question.

"I'll go out with you. We can start officially... right after you get your provincial hero license!"

He chuckled dryly, grinning, "You... you're gonna make me work for you, huh? I like it."
