A fight and an enchant

Sorry this took awhile

Y/n POV

I lunged at one of the two people. The person on the left.

A women, very revealing outfit with blood red eyes.

I lunged onto her, knocking her to the ground before starting to try to rip her through out with my sharp teeth.

She left my head back with her hands, but was struggling.

???: get off me you mutt!

I then felt someone kick me off and I landed on the ground in front of the others.

I got back up, transforming back somehow, glaring at them.

Gudako: Y/n?

Y/n: not right now

I ripped my sword out of its sheath before attacking them.

The women dodged, going backwards and the man engaged.

He blocked my sword with some sort of lance.

Y/n: so your using a lance

Keeping my sword steady with one hand I grabbed my spear and jabbed him in the gut, underneath our weapons.

He didn't react much.

So I kept stabbing him.

Not much reaction other than a flinch for each jab.

Soon he retaliated and forced me back.

I started walking backwards, taking up a defensive position.

I started to back up into Gudako.

Gudako: what are you-

Y/n: we need to retreat. Theirs more powerful than us

I then saw 2 people coming from nowhere.

I prepared for more attacks to come.

But they never did.

Time skip

So new friends. More historic spirits from the past, from around this time.

But I'm away from all of them.

I didn't want to talk to anyone right now.

Sure it was a tactical retreat, but we still retreated.

I didn't feel good about it.

So I was leaning against a tree, away from everyone else.

Then I heard bushes rustling.

Y/n: who's there?

I heard bushes keep rustling but saw someone appear in front of me.

I couldn't see their eyes as they had something covering them and her waist down was a massive snake tail.

Y/n: yes?

???: so your the servant Master is so interested with

Y/n: Gudako? Yeah I guess. Who are you again

???: Just call me Gorgon

I saw her hair move and saw snake heads, 4 of them, look at me.

I didn't pay them any attention until on but me.

I stabbed it immediately.

She recoiled in pain.

Y/n: control you pets

Gorgon: well I am sorry

I rolled my eyes.

Y/n: so what did you want?

Gorgon: why are you so mad?

Y/n: I'm not in a good mood if you can't tell, thank you very much. So please leave me be

She looked at me, well her snakes did, then slithered back to Gudako.

I cleaned the blood off my spear.

Pests. Everything.

I then thought of something. My spear was not as powerful as my 32k sword, yet I'm using it a lot here.

Let's fix that.

I left my inventory appear, a box appearing in the air showing me everything I had.

I selected my spear and an enchanted book and they appeared in my hands.

My inventory went away and I placed the spear on the ground.

I opened the book, going to a certain page.

I looked over the page before I started saying the words of enchanting on the page.

The book glowed purple, a fine purple mist streaming from it to the spear.

It then floated into the air.

But that was ok.

I kept saying the words before the book fell to the ground.

It still had some magic left but the enchantment was done.

The spear was enchanted.

I picked up both, putting the book back into my inventory and the spear onto my back.

I heard someone to my right and saw Gudako standing there.

Y/n: how much did you see?

Gudako: half way though the-

Y/n: enchanting

Gudako: y-yeah. Anyway, we're setting up camp

I nodded.

Y/n: I'll go find food

Gudako: Y/n, we have enough. Servants don't even nee-

Y/n: I'm not saying I have too. I know I don't need food. But it makes me feel human, or at least more human

I started to turn before i stopped.

Y/n: what happens if we fail?

Gudako: what do you mean?

Y/n: what if we're not powerful enough? What if someone somewhere down the line is to much for us all?

She looked at me then shrugged.

Gudako: we'll get more powerful. The sky's the limit.

I nodded, before turning to find a rabbit or something small.

The sky's the limit. I like that saying.
