The unbreakable bond

The news.

There were echos of running foot steps throughout the royal corridor, guards quickly pushing the doors open allowing the servant to rush into the hall. The servant went down on one knee in front of the king, guards kept their stance.
"What is the meaning of this?!" King Vegeta looked down at the servant in disgust.
"I've come to announce a beta male has been born your royal highness" the servant stared at the floor awaiting for any orders.
The guards as well as the king looked in shock, whispers filled the room. Since their planet Sadala had been destroyed, there were only a few who migrated to the planet they now named after the warrior who is the king himself. There weren't many female sayians, To breed so their numbers weren't as high since their battle against the Tuffles. There were rumours of one in every 1000 or so years a Beta male would be born who'd be able to carry offspring. These males are sacred, for they'd carry much stronger offspring in comparison to that of the females.
"Who's bloodline does this Beta male belong?" The king questioned, the servant gulped at this he knew the king wouldn't be impressed with the answer, he raised to his feet and looked directly into the kings eyes.
"He's from low class warriors" the servant squinted his eyes shut embracing for what was to come next.
"Low class?! How's that even possible for them to produce a beta male, I thought it was the higher classes for their power levels are much greater, that's another reason of how Beta males are so powerful!" The king bashed his fist on his throne.
"I wish to speak with the parents! Bring them to me immediately!"
The servant bowed and ran down the corridor to fetch the parents. The king sat rubbing his temples.
"Uh, is everything okay highness?" One of the guards spoke up seeing the stress on the kings face.
"Do you have any idea how powerful the offspring from a Beta male will be?! Think how powerful they'd be if they breed with my eldest son!" The king smirked "only thing is, the baby is that of low class" his smirk quickly vanished "I'll need to speak to the parents and check the babies power level out myself before I come to a decision on future arrangements!"
The guards looked at each other anxiously, they knew his son Vegeta would have a few things to say about that. Even though he was only 5 years old, he certainly wasn't afraid to speak his mind especially against his father.
  After having her vitals checked over, Gine was forced to go back to work just hours after giving birth. This was the norm, especially for lower class warriors, their babies would be placed in a nursery away from their parents for few days to measure their power levels. If levels remained low they were catergorised as low class and were to become engineers or infiltration babies; where their survival rate were low only small number of infiltration babies would return.
The servant ran down the street where lower class were busy working on their armour, they watched as the male ran frantically to stop Bardock who was about to leave on a mission. Whispers echoed behind the servant, they knew word got out to the king about the beta cub. The servant had guards quickly follow, the surrounded Bardock, he turned to face the servant who was slightly out of breath. It was peculiar to witness a sayian out of breath from just running, of course this sayian was merely just a servant.
"King Vegeta requests yours and Gine's presence immediately!" The servant caught his breath.
Bardock looked around the guards, he scratched back of his head and sighed. He knew not to argue back, he followed as they fetched Gine. They slowly headed towards the castle, Gine and Bardock gave each other a look they knew exactly why they were beckoned; of course the king would show interest in their youngest. Gine's concern was due to the fact he was born into low warrior class would he just be seen for breeding purposes then killed once he was no longer able to carry. The double doors slowly opened, they were welcomed by line of guards either side of them, king Vegeta sat on his throne glaring at both parents.  The servant stood in front and bowed.
"Your highness, as you have requested. Here are the parents of the beta male"  Gine and Bardock got down to one knee with their eyes on the ground.
"Well, who'd of thought lower class such as yourselves would gift us with something so rare" King Vegeta looked to one of the guards "did we have the reading of the little one?"
"It's low, however it's slowly increasing your highness" the guard bowed in response
King Vegeta smirked, he got onto his feet tapping both parents on the shoulder to stand.
"Well, aren't you both very lucky. Your child will be mated to my eldest!"
Gine gasped, she felt sick the thought of the king seeing her son as some breeder for his own selfish needs. The king noticed her facial reaction, it wasn't common for sayians to have any feelings for their children, not how Gine was displaying.
"You see, Beta males create stronger warriors for us, just think of the power level of their offsprings when paired with an elite warrior such as my eldest!" The King smirked as he walked back to his throne. "Your special cub shall remain with you at all times, he must be protected. Once he has hit maturity he shall live here!"
"Would we be able to visit him still?" Gine asked with worrying look, she didn't like the thought of setting up her sons future to breed with the kings son. Bardock nudged her as the king raised a brow at her.
"Very rare to see a sayian show any interest over their cub like you are displaying, perhaps I should have your offspring taken off you already"
"No, he remains with us till he reaches maturity. As you can tell my mate here has not long birthed our cub, she's clearly not thinking straight right now" Bardock bowed and looked over at Gine, he gave her the 'snap out of it' look. Gine nodded.
"Very well! For the time being he and my son must not meet each other till your son has reached his maturity, then we will collect your son to stay here" the king sat back down on his thrones looking down at the two low class warriors. "You may be dismissed"
Bardock bowed with Gine and grabbed Gine by the arm as they left the room. They were escorted back to their home, Gine threw her fists to the floor in anger, Bardock leaned over her to try comfort her.
"What did you expect? Soon as we were told he was beta we knew exactly what his fate was!" He offered Gine his hand to help her back onto her feet. "This is the best thing for his future, he won't be out purging he'll be looked after here!"
There was a knock at the door, it was one of Bardocks friend who he was assigned to go on mission with.
"I got to go now, take care of yourself and please don't show your emotions if you want to have our son stay with us for a bit longer" he pecked Gine on the forehead before he left grabbing his bag and slinging it over his shoulder.
Gine wiped back her tears, she dusted herself off and headed back out to her work helping with any of the cleaning or butchering.
