Vegeta had woken up, servants assisted him out the tank and clothed him. Bardock was stood watching folding his arms, Vegeta looked over raising his brow.
"How many more times you going to get your ass handed to you before you accept you can't defeat that bastard?"
"Tsk, like I need a lecture from you!" The prince shoved the servants off him who were busy fussing over him. Bardock grinned shaking his head at him.
"Well whilst you were busy running that mouth of yours, kakarot went into labour. Lucky for you both him and cub are fine"
The prince looked over with a concerned look, something Bardock and others rarely seen on the princes face.
"Where are they now?"
"They were in the nursery"
Vegeta shoved everyone out the way as he headed off to find his mate and cub. As he rushed to the nursery Letta stopped him in his tracks.
"You're finally awake!" She smiled
"Not now! I'm needing to see..."
"They are in the throne room, come I'll take you there" Letta interrupted knowing exactly why he was rushing to the nursery so quickly.
The corridor to the throne room seemed longer for some reason, vegeta eager to see his cub and mate. The doors slowly opened, guards and elite warriors were stood opposite sides bowing in respect. Familiar faces caught Vegetas attention he smirked seeing some blush, he quickly drew his attention on his father and Kakarot who were stood looking at the cub cradled in Kakarots arms. Kakarots eyes lit up as he seen Vegeta walking towards them.
"You've finally awoken from your injuries, come and meet your son the future heir to the throne!" The king smiled standing next to Kakarot. Vegetas could feel his heart beating through his chest as he got closer. Letta was behind smiling at the prince, she could see he was nervous despite him trying to hide it. Bardock has caught up with them he stood next to Letta with his arms folded watching as Vegeta was about to meet his son for the first time. Vegeta stood opposite Kakarot, kakarot smiled handing him their son who was wrapped up in a red blanket, he was sleeping contently. Vegeta looked down at his son, brushing his son's cheek with his finger whilst he smiled. He didn't care who or how many were in the room, he cried happy tears. The king called in one of his servants to spread the word of the birth of future heir. As it was tradition for first born son to carry on the royal fathers name,their son was given the name Vegeta. Kakarot and Vegeta looked at each other the chuckled slightly not wanting to argue with the king who seemed proud of his first grandson.
"We will nick name him junior for time being" kakarot leaned over Vegetas shoulder looking down at their son.
Bardock smiled seeing how happy his son was, he knew Gine would be happy seeing her son settling down with the prince. Despite their concerns on the arrangement, it seemed the prince had grown fond of Kakarot, just as Bardock did with Gine. Kakarot has his mother's caring heart who can see the goodness out of everyone, it seemed he managed to bring out the softer side of the prince which was a rarity to see. Vegeta called Bardock to come forward, as he did Vegeta handed him the sleeping cub. It was rare for sayians to huddle over a cub but there they all were fussing over the newborn. Vegeta held Kakarots hand, it caused Kakarot to turn crimson he looked at the prince who smiled at him before looking back at their cub. As the king, Bardock and other warriors began to crowd round the cub. Vegeta pulled Kakarot outside, they sat on the grass and looked up at the sky, their tails wrapping around each other.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there" vegeta squeezed lightly on Kakarots hand whilst still looking up at the sky.
"Vegeta, it's not your fault. If they...whatever they did... I don't think our son would of been born yet"
"I'm sorry about that too.." vegeta sighed
"It's okay, I'm just glad you are here now!" Kakarot smiled the prince smiled slightly still looking up at the sky.
"Kakarot, I know our son had been conceived under forced mating so to speak. I just want you to know that if you are not happy here, you can leave fuck what our parents say. You shouldn't be seen as some breeding machine..."
kakarot taken back by the princes words, he sighed and paused for few seconds.
"I mean, if you'd of told me that before I got to know you more. I'd of happily taken you up on that offer. I found you arrogant..."
The prince chuckled he looked back at Kakarot.
"And I seen you as naive... yet something about you always grabbed my attention." The prince smiled before sighing.
Kakarot pulled Vegeta in for a kiss, his arms wrapped lovingly around him. He pulled back and looked into the princes eyes.
"I'm not going anywhere, I love you."
Vegeta looked back at his mate in shock, he didn't know how to react. Those words, words that made him feel nauseous to say. Kakarot grinned before kissing Vegeta again.

Vegeta nodded at him before looking back to see his father cradling his son, he looked back up at the sky.
"Kakarot, I'd like you to train with me, I can already see you've gotten stronger. I need every bit of strength behind us...Frieza thinks he can treat us like slaves, he has another thing coming!"
Kakarot smiled in excitement, then paused he looked worried.
"Is it worth it Vegeta? What if we lose?!"
"We won't lose! Not if we train! Frieza wants out cub when he's of age to fight. I won't let that happen! I will take him on with or without you kakarot!"
Kakarot looked back seeing the king cradling the newborn, he looked back at Vegeta.
"So, when do we start?"
Vegeta grinned at Kakarot, he leaned into Kakarots shoulder looking up at the sky.
"After we spend some time not beating the shit into each other" he chuckled.
"Hm. I was wanting to beat the shit into you earlier" kakarot grinned.
"I bet, since you're the poor sod having to give birth"
"I didn't think of that!..." kakarot chuckled nudging the prince "whilst waiting for you to wake up, some of the warriors were talking. Apparently you enjoyed being bottom" kakarot raised a brow, Vegeta blushed avoiding eye contact.
"I mean. I Guess they are all just rumours right? But it really got me mad hearing them talk about what you done previous and maybe I don't know...left me jealous" he shrugged.
"Well, you never asked..."
"Hm?"
"Tsk. You fool, if you want to try something you only have to ask..."
Kakarot blushed as well as the prince, they sat in silence staring up at the sky.
