Chapter Four: An Unexplainable Explanation

I stare at Daniel's beautiful green eyes with hatred, trying still to understand what was the whole point on lying to me in the first place. Everything was amazing without him, he just had to appear and be nice yesterday and ruin everything didn't he! I even started thinking he could be a good friend, I really thought I was able on having a friend because of being me, Bethany RedRose, the brunette light eyed girl who is that awesome that has a cocky and amazing voice in her head apart from herself, not the daughter of King and Queen, The Princess.

'Aww, I'm your friend Beth' Nuria says as I roll my eyes mentally before replying.

'I know you are, It's just that you're on my mind Nuria, It's different from having a conversation out of my head, than me being able on seeing you'

She sighs before agreeing before hiding on a corner of my head.

I turn back to Daniel's green forest eyes, as I feel a tight grip on my hand, erupting little Sparks and butterflies on my stomach. I stare at it for a moment before gazing back at Daniel's eyes.

"Release me!" I demand with the same voice my father always use when demanding an order to the peasants.

Obviously he wouldn't obey what I ordered, since he's a prince, and right now we stood in his territory, it would have been completely different if this would be my garden, He would have to obey me as soon as I left those words split from my mouth, however I thank God he didn't enter to it and we are not on my Kingdom.

"Beth, could you please hear me out?" He asks, gazing my eyes with regret. I could feel my eyebrows relaxing but then quickly turn into a frown again. I know he's trying for me to hear him, But I'm way beyond furious to care of what he's trying to do, that puppy little doggy face he is giving me was not going to foolish me. Not now, nor ever.

His grip tightens even more, making me whine at the pain, I stare at his hand still connected with mine, clawing me his nails painfully.

"First release me!" I comment shaking my arm searching for a release of his strong grip.

I don't know what he saw or thought that made him change his mind, and before he could say another word, I began to shake hysterically, trying again to loose his tight grip. But before I manage on freeing my hand, he let go, making me triple over my own feet, stumbling backwards before falling to the cold hard ground. Recovering and standing up immediately, I start thinking a way for escape but how could I? His sparkling eyes made me stood still in my place.

Why my inner self has to be so stupidly related to him! I can't stay mad at him, but I'm not mad; I'm hurt and disappointed, and for the first time my inner self is on my side.

"Remember to let him explain"

" but you're supposed to be on my side! How do you think I can?"

"Take a deep breath, let him explain and tell him how you feel about what just happened, but if you leave this moment you'll regret it for the rest of your life!"

"Okay, the least I could do is trust myself!"

"You may begin" I say with power and determination in my voice, a serious expression on my face and my arms crossed. It's so funny how A few months ago I would totally act as a little puppy, unaware of what happens in the world, fooling around and getting hurt with just one single blow, now, now I've found some inner strength I never thought I had.
