"Yes Tessa I - what did you do to your hair? Let alone your eyes!" blue eyes said grasping my shoulders then my neck scrutinizing my makeover.
"Tessa who's Tessa? Tori who is that?" Killian asked squeezing past Quinn who instantly remembered she had to barf and made a b-line to the bathroom.
"Killian this is, this is..." sensing my trouble remembering his name he said it.
"The names Jack, Jack Frost." He said calmly extending his hand towards Killian.
"You've got to be kidding me! Your name can't actually be Jack Frost!" I started to laugh and Killian began to too.
"Yes it is." he frowned not enjoying our laughter.
"I'm sorry blue eyes, but seriously Jack Frost? What I'm more surprised with is the fact that you found me." I said removing my gloves not liking him being this close to me and my new family.
"Why Tessa you’re the one who came to me. We are in my natural environment and the other thing that's surprising is why a fire enchanter is here in Alaska don't your prefer the heat?" Jack said looking toward Killian.
"Exactly who do you think you are?" I asked dropping my gloves to the ground.
"Uh, uh, uh Tessa you know that doesn't work on fellow enchanters." Jack said placing his hands on his hips.
"Enchanters? What are you saying! You're just with the government sent here to bring me in!" I hollered slamming my uncovered fist into his chest.
"Tori calm down I'm sure Jack is not with the government." Killian calmed me.
"He's right Tessa." Jack said stepping further away from me to prevent another attack.
"Why don't we go sit down?" Killian suggested picking up my gloves leading the way to my dining room.
Jack Frost, huh who would have thought, blue eyes’ name would be one of a myth. This past year I've been debating whether or not he was actually real or just a figment of my imagination. Turns out he is real, and in my house, and his name is Jack, Jack Frost.
Oh my gods, does this mean, because he's here, I have to go back to my home town in Maryland? No! I can't go!
As I reached my dining room table and slowly sat down my thoughts consumed me.
Was he here to bring me back?
What did he mean enchanter?
Am I an enchanter?
Is he going to let me go?
Is he going to kidnap me?
Oh my god he's going to kidnap me! He just wanted Killian to - wait Killian's still here! Still he could have accomplices waiting to grab the both of us!
Quinn! What about her! Oh god they probably already have her!
"TESSA!" Jack screamed snapping me from my panic state.
"What!" I snapped.
"You're rotting your table!" Killian's voice cracked mid-sentence and went an octave higher.
"Shit!" I removed my hands and grabbed my gloves shoving them on. "I'm so stupid!" I muttered running my hands threw my hair.
"You’re not stupid Tessa." Jack said concern showing about his handsome features.
"Yes I am Jack! I've killed four men, even my own father! my own father. I should have known it wouldn't just go away! Ugh. I just wanted a normal life!" I stood up heading to my room.
"Tessa you can live a normal life if you come with me and I can teach you how to control it just like my father taught me!" Jack said pleading with me.
"What do you have, that you needed to control as much as I have to." I quietly said stopping in front of the bathroom where Quinn soft sounds of groans could be heard.
"This." He said lifting his hand and pacing it oh the bathroom door handle freezing the lock.
"Quinn's in there you idiot! Undo it now!" I yelled hitting the door.
"I can't, but he can." he said pointing to Killian.
"What do you mean?" I asked Jack while looking at my best friend, could he have a curse like me, could Killian be like me!
"No." Snapped Killian with regret in his eyes. "I promised myself that - who are you to know what I am. Know my curse." Killian seethed facing Jack.
"I'm an enchanter who was trained by a warlord who taught me how to track fellow enchanters and recognize them." Jack smiled proudly.
"Bull shit." Killian said. "It's just a curse a curse that only I have! I've been on my own since I was twelve because of it. Who are you to tell me there are others?" Killian was starting to get angry.
It could have been because of Jack in general or because they were total opposites fire and ice.
