So many people have lied to me
Why do I still believe you
It hurts
I'm tired of the lies
You know I won't judge you for the truth
But I want you to be honest with me
I want to know if you're okay
I want to know if something is wrong
I want to know if you regret something
I want to know if there was a better change in your life
It's happened to all of us
Don't lie to me to be cool
Don't lie to me because you don't want to get your hopes up
Don't lie to me about the fact that you're okay
I've lied to myself lots
I say that I'm okay when I'm really not
I say the worst so that when the worst comes I'll be ready for it
I hate lies
I care about you
Did I do something so now you don't trust me?
Why do you feel the need to lie?
As someone who's been there, it's better to just get it out
So please don't lie
I know when you are
I know you
I know when you're sad
I know when you're angry
I know when you're tired
But I can't help if you don't tell me
I won't push
But just do me a favour
When you need help
Come find me
You know I'll listen
But also
Don't lie
To me
Or those who care about you
