Sitting on my bed, I reflect on the past couple of weeks
Things have happened
Tears have been shed
But it's mainly having to do with my trust
My trust has been broken
Someone once told me to not put up my wall
But then someone else broke my trust
Actually, more than one person did
So I guess this is just my way of saying
I've been betrayed
More than once
So don't judge me when I say that I protect myself by not opening-up
That feeling of betrayal has been replaced by the feeling of being alone
But then I remembered someone
That person has always been there for me
And they said that they will always be there for me
So thanks
You made light appear in the darkness
And for all of you who are reading this
Don't worry
There will always be that one person
Who will help you through anything
