----- Amelia POV-----

These last two days have been a blur. Dameons desire to make up for the week we missed had left me swollen and full. Thank god for birth control! Never making it out of the house Sunday, we had no need for lifes little amenities such as clothes or phones. If it wasn't for the occasional delivery person, we would have had zero contact with the outside world. We were so greedy with each other we allowed Monday to come and go without interfering with our demand for each other. Almost four years later and it was still amazing how much we still needed each others touch to be able to function properly on a daily basis.

"AMELIA!" Mama shouted.

"Huh? What?" I hadn't been paying one bit of attention to her since she had started talking. My mind was lost in the steamy flashed backs with Dameon. "Sorry Ma what were you saying?"

"I said which cake do you prefer? But are you ok? You seem as if though you are a million miles away." She replied with so much concern on her face that I instantly snapped out of my wet/day dream to be completely present with her; after all, this was for my birthday party.

"Yes Mama I am fine and as far as the cake surprise me but please nothing over the top."

"No promises but ti fi ti bèbè (baby girl) are you sure you are ok?" She asked.

"Yes Mama I am, I promise." While I try my best to give her a reassuring smile, so she can drop the conversation. "Just thinking about my finals, that's all."

"Right I feel like we haven't talked much since you have been back this time; how is this semester coming along? Last one and you will be a college graduate." She asked, beaming with joy.

"Actually really great! I lucked up and got some really cool professors and me and Meh are even in a few classes together this year."

"And the non-educational activities?" She questioned. I couldn't help but to look at her strange, unfortunately I was never good at not showing exactly what I was thinking on my face. So, I knew my face was twisted up trying to figure out what the hell she was talking about. I was almost afraid to ask what she was referring to since anything was liable to come out of her mouth, but before I could muster the courage to ask she replied, "Boys child! Are you seeing anyone special?"

Fuck me running I finally come face to face with this question from someone. I had done really good with avoiding all relationship talk with my family for the last few years not because I was ashamed of my relationship with Dameon but because we had gotten comfortable not having everyone in our mix. I had no idea what to say since my mama was a human lie detector and could spot bullshit from a mine away. I tried my hardest to come up with something while she sipped her tea looking at me to answer but nothing came out I just froze up.

God help me out here, I'm begging you.

And with that simple prayer in walks, Wes,"She better not have no boyfriend!"

"Silans leve ti gasèn (Hush up boy) your sister can date if she wants too!" She snapped back at him.

Paying her very little attention Wes continued to make his way to the fridge pulling out his bottle of water, "Dating is one thing mama but you said boyfriend that requires serious time and commitment."

"You don't say gasèn(boy)" as she folds her arms and glanced between him and I.

"I'm just saying we got shit to do, so we gotta stay focused." While taking sips of water.

"You sound like dad."

Stopping mid sip, he looked horrified at the realization. "Oh my god, I do!" I couldn't help but to laugh at the look on his face as he mouthed "kill me now".
