do you ever feel like nothing stops moving
your heart won't quit stomping
your feet never stop tapping
the thoughts in your brain don't slow down
you can't catch your breathe in time for the next one
everything feels like its closing in
and there is nothing you can do about it
you constantly anticipate the next move on their part
when will they talk to you next
when will they invade your space again
the constant wait
is excruciating
because right now
it's 10:30 on a wednesday night
and soon your father will come up
and make your heart beat too fast
too fast to breathe
it's all too fast
i need to break the cycle
thinking of you makes me sad
