Laura's POV

lucky my next class is music. I've always had a passion for music. I've played piano since I was in kindergarten. I've sang since I was 4. Anyways I walked into class since i was the first person ( besides the teacher) to get to class i chose whatever seat I wanted then I sat down and pulled out my songbook and started writing stuff down till the bell rung for the class to start . I put my book into my backpack . and we all got partnered I chose Rydel ( of course) and we started on the assignment which was write a song and the genre and what the song is about is optional .

Rydel: what should the song be about?

Laura:I don't know you choose.

Rydel: does it really matter right now?

Laura: yeah let's just figure it out later.

Rydel: yay! So how should we start?

Laura: think of the lyrics. We could use so frame my book I you want. Do you want to?

Rydel: Yes! Your a great songwriter.

Laura: awe thanks Delly.

Rydel: no problem. Can we start after school at my place?

Laura: Ok

Then we talked the rest of the period about what the song is gonna be about. Then the bell rung and we headed to rydel's car yo see Ross waiting for us there.

Ross: she's coming with us again? He asked annoyed

Rydel: yeah  now quit whining and get in the back.

Ross: geez bossy bossy. He mumbled

Rydel: excuse me?

Ross: nothing

Then we headed straight to the lynch house. Once we got there we walked straight inside and went right into the kitchen and started working.

End of POV

Rydel's POV

once we walked inside it was really quiet. I guess the boys aren't home yet. Once we sat down we started working.

Rydel: Laur so can we start?

Laura: yeah here let me just grab my songbook.

Rydel: Ok. So what do you have written down?

Laura: um..... Oh here's one I've been working on but can we go somewhere no one will walk in?

Rydel: sure let's go in my room.

(We walk into my room.) Ok so let's here it.

Laura: hear it goes.

I've been wishin' for somethin'  missing
To fill this empty space
to show the person behind the curtain
So you'll understand
Who I really am
( chorus)
The me that you don't see
Is praying there's a chance you still believe
Tell me that I'm worth it
I'll prove that I deserve it
And I can be
The me that you don't see

To be standing tall
No shadows at all
That's all I really I really want to do
To be a circle of one
Stepping into the sun

Sharing the light that's here with you
I'm here with you

The me that you don't see
Is praying there's a chance you still believe
Tell me that I'm worth it
I'll prove that I deserve it
And I can be
The me that you don't see.
