chapter twenty nine

Laura's POV

~ three weeks later ~

Its been three weeks since Ross and me went to the fair. Which means Ross's birthday is in two days. Ever since the day we went to the fair I've been planning his party. Everyone's in on it. He'll go hang out with Calum, Ryland, Rocky, Ellington,  and Riker while we're setting up for his party. Its kind of expensive so I hope he likes it. Its not thats the party's so expensive, its his gift. I got him a new car called the "Subaru BRZ". How can I afford it you ask? Well I sing at bars and get lots of money from them. Ive been doing this for years. I thought it would be nice to get him this cause I know how bad he wants a car. And hes been talking about this one a lot so I thought it would be nice. Anyways he walks into Rydel's room where I am currently planning his party, I hide all the stuff under the bed . He jumps onto the bed, on top of me, holding his own wait of course.

Ross:whatcha doin?

Laura: research till you decided to jump on top of me. I laugh

Ross: well now thats your not doing research or homework........do you want to hang out ? You've been busy catching up on homework for like three weeks now. Ive been extremely bored.

Laura: well sorry, but I can hang right now I guess.

Ross: yay! (Jumps off of me and pulls me up like as if I weighted a pound)

Ross pulls me down stairs to his mom's car and opens my door for me. I sit and he closes the door and runs to his side, sits down and shuts the door.

Laura: where are we going?

Ross: didn't think of that.

Laura: (chuckles) well we could go for a walk in the park if you want.

Ross:(smiles) sounds great. And since we're going on a walk lets not take my mom's car.

We get out of the car, lock the door, go inside, pu the keys back, grab eachothers hand, and start walking.

Laura: Ross you excited for your birthday?

Ross: eh, so and so. Its not like its that special.

Laura: what are you talking about? YOUR TURNING 18! Your gonna be an adult.

Ross: yeah I guess but as long as im gonna be with you on my birthday. Ill be fine.

He gives me a kiss on the cheek. I blush. We keep talking until a guys runs into Ross.

Ross: sorry

??????: watch where your going idiot!

Ross: I said I was sorry. God. He mumbled

??????: excuse me ?!?! He pushes Ross hard enough for gim to fall to the ground.

Laura: (stands infront of ross) leave him alone, he apologized for something YOU did.

??????: oh how cute a little girl standing up for her little boyfriend.

He shoves me and because im way smaller than him I fall to the ground. My head hit the pole. The last thing I see before blacking out is Ross kicking him in the back of the legs .

End of POV

Ross's POV

Once I fell Laura started defending me.

Laura: ( stands in front of me) leave him alone, he apologized for something YOU did.

??????: oh how cute a little girl standing up for her little boyfriend.

Then he shoves her into the ground her head hit a pole. I was pissed. I kick him in the back of the legs he falls over. I punch him in the face multiple times and knee him in the balls then I walk to Laura.  Her eyes are closed. I check if she's breathing. I see blood on the top of her head. I pick her up and run back to my house open the door and run into the house in the kitchen.

Ross: MOM HELP!!!

Then mom, dad, Rydel, vanessa, and Riker run into the room. Well glad to know rocky and ryland care. My mom looks like a mixture of angry, worried, and terrified. Vanessa's face dropped when she saw Laura's head.

Stormie: WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!?

I explain the whole thing. At the end of explaining all of it Rydel looked extremely confused,  my mom and dad looked relieved,  and riker looked confused too. My mom started helping Laura.  Just then Vanessa walked up to me and hugged me.

Vanessa: thank you so much Ross.

Ross: dont worry its my job.

Rydel: wait wait wait, can you describe this guy?

Ross: well he had black hair, green eyes, and he was super tall.

Rydel's eyes widen.

Rydel: well gotta go.

Then she ran out of the room. I wonder what that was about. I go into the living room where laura, my mom and my dad are. Shes just opening here eyes.

Ross: hey Laur how ya feelin?

Laura: ok I might just need to rest for a little while.

Then we both go upstairs to my room and rest.
