chapter twenty

Laura's POV

The rest of the day we just sat in Rydel's room talking, laughing, and oh yeah kissing. But I told him not to cause he would get sick but he didn't listen he just said it's worth it. I did start to feel better. I'm glad he stayed with me. Then I suddenly heard a door slam and feet running up stairs it must be the guys. Then the door to delly's room opened and in came Rocky, Ryland, and Riker.

Rocky:(smiles) Ross come on you know we have plans.

Then they pull Ross out and Rydel walked into the room.

Laura:(laughs) what was that about?

Rydel:probably just wrestling each other. So how was your day with Ross?

Laura:it was fun. I said casually.

Rydel:thats really all your gonna give me?

Laura: what's bad about that?

Rydel: what did you do?

Laura:talked, laughed and -

She cut me off

Rydel: AND WHAT?????

Laura: jesus Christ calm down Rydel.  I was about to tell you.

Rydel: ok im calm.

Laura: ok. And we kissed.

Rydel: OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! (Then she screamed and Riker, Ross, Ryland, and Rocky ran in to the room.)

Riker: what happened?

Rydel: I saw a spider

Rocky: wow Rydel.  We we're busy and you screamed because you saw a spider? He said laughing. She then punched him

Rydel: shut up! now all of you leave.

They all left out of fear of Rydel.

Laura:(laughs) that was awesome delly.

Rydel: why thank you. Anyways want to watch some tv?

Laura: sure.

Then we just sat there and watched tv.

Ross' s POV

After I left rydel's room we went downstairs to the living room to start the competition.

Riker: so we are going to start off with nessa who is going to go get Laura. (Then nessa goes to get Laura)

And we'll see who she likes best.

Rocky: aw thats not fair!

Ryland: yeah what the hell? We all know she'll pick ross.

Riker: what did you expect this to be?

Rocky: oh I dont know. AN ACTUAL COMPETITION!

Riker: well you were wrong.

Just then laura and rydel walk down the stairs.

Laura: whats up?

Riker: out of these three (he points to all three of us.) Would you want to date?

Laura: um..............................I think id pick Ross.

Rydel: YES!!

Ross: jesus christ rydel . Calm down.

Rydel: sorry

Then rocky and ryland stomp out of the room.

Laura: what happened?  What did I do?

Riker: dont worry laur its not your fault. We had a bet on who would you like best and you said ross so theyre all upset.

Rydel:(whispering in my ear) you should ask her out. Its so obvious that you like her.

Ross: (nodded)I will. Can you help me plan a date?

Rydel: sure come on. She said pulling me up to her room and shutting and locking the door.

Ross: what should I do ?

Rydel: it has to be romantic.

Ross: ok how bout we go to the beach?

Rydel: yep. You could make a picnic.

Ill help you set it up. Now go downstairs and ask her! She said pushing me out.

Ross: thanks.

Rydel: no problem just go! Then she slammed the door.

I walked downstairs and walked up to Laura.

Ross: hey Laura can I talk to you, privately?

Laura: sure. (Then we walk down to the basement.) What do you want to talk about?

Ross: um I was just wondering........... if........you  would um.......... want to go on a d date with me? I stuttered

Laura: ( smiles widely and nods vigorously) I would love to.

Ross: great how bout next Thursday?  Since we're off on that day.

Laura: sure sounds great.

Then she walks upstairs and I start screaming "yes she said yes". Then I walk up to Rydel's room.

Ross: she said yes.

Rydel: I know I heard you yell it 10 times downstairs. She giggled.

Ross: (blushed) hey do you think you can help me plan it?

Rydel: sure.

Then we start planning the date with Laura.  This dates gonna be great !
