Chapter 7 : First Strange Encounter

I saw Colocks standing still, at the side. "Colocks.........."

He was standing, standing like a statue. No matter how much I called out to him, he wouldn't move. Strange........

" Colocks?" I moved closer to him.

" BOO! "He barked, turning around.

Really? I stared at Colocks, who started to react. " Why are you scared? "He asked, making a sad face.

I thought for a while before I answered. Why aren't I scared? Do I even need to be scared? " Why were you scaring me?"

" Duh. Today is April Fools Day! " Colocks announced cheerfully,"it is a day where you can prank other people, but, there is a rule, you must never be angry."

I stared at him. Why did they even make this event?

" Anyways, shouldn't we be going?" I questioned, looking at Colocks' shock face.

" NOOOOOOO!"He roared, dashing out of the hideout.

*sigh*

I ran after Colocks, trying to catch up with him. He is not easy to catch up with. When we reached the gates, the security officer was about to lock it. " Wait!" Colocks yelled, standing in front of the gates.

The officer looked at us. Little kids...... I could tell what he was thinking. My mind reading never fails. The officer slowly unlocked the gates, with the impatient Colocks sweating.

His hands were as wet as a bottle filled with water. I must never follow his example of going home late.

" Done." The officer remarked, after having a hard time unlocking.

" Ya!" The officer yelled in agony, falling down in pain.

Wow. That was fast. Colocks was speeding away while leaving the officer lying on the floor. I went up to him, helping him up. " Are you okay?" I asked.

" Ya, I am fine. Looks like he is late for his new job briefing again." He laughed, looking at the hospital.

" Why?"

" He and his aunt has been known for acting skills. They can act very well in front of people, fooling them. Little girl, be careful of them." The officer continued, walking away.

I stood on the ground, shocked about the infomation given by the officer. Mia and Colocks may be fooling with me? No way,they are so nice!

I continued thinking, trying to link the infomation together with what I see. I don't get it. Unless.............

" Aquarius! "Colocks called out.

I turned around, only to find Mia and Colocks running towards me in full speed. "Luck.......luckily you were here." Colocks panted, stopping to rest.

I must know what he was talking about.

I turned around, ready to ask the officer.

He wasn't there at all. "Colocks, where is the officer?" I asked him, who looked up.

" Officer?"

" Ya, the one who opened the gates for us."

"Officer? There are no officer, the gates can close and open automatically without people touching them." Colocks explained, looking at my shocked face.

" Is there something wrong?"
