"Ok. It is not like it is very difficult to do so." Ray agreed.

I smiled.

Great.

" So, when are we going to escape. I mean, how? You ought to have a plan, right?" I whispered.

I am just trying to talk quietly so that the guard cannot hear us.

" You know that you don't need to talk like this right?" Ray copied, whispering,"once I tricked him into telling me where he goes when he is not in here and he said he always go to the cafe nearby. So, he can't really hear unless we shout loudly."

Right......

" So, like I said, how and when are we going to escape?"I asked eagerly.

" We are going to used this." Ray opened his hand.

Golden dust. There were golden dust on his hand.

Wow.

" What is that?"I asked, curious.

Ray dropped his hand to the ground, looking at me blankly. " You don't know what is this? Are you sure? Or are you just joking with me?" Ray asked me.

That sentence, I feel like I heard it before......

" Hello? Are you there? " Ray shook his hand.

I stared at him. " What is that ?" I questioned again.

" You don't have this? Oh, I thought you had." Ray answered, " this is magic, the kinds you see in fairytales."

I laughed.

Fairytales?

Magic?

" Ya, right, magic." I told Ray, who was staring at me with his cold, dark eyes.

" I am not kidding. Only Kirmonds have magic. All Lonacins don't have. Guess that makes you a Lonacin. " Ray explained, showing off.

Somehow, this Lonacin and Kirmond thing feels so familar, like I heard of it before. I just can't remember why.

" So, how and when are we going to escape? "I asked the third time.

And yes, I was so bored that I counted how many times I have asked about when and how are we going to escape.

Ray grinned. " When David goes into your cell, you are going to knock him unconscious with your invisible bat and take the key of my cell to help me escape." Ray explained his plan, smiling brightly.

I stared at him.

" Aren't you scared that the other prisoners will hear about your plan?" I questioned.

Ray chuckled.

" They were all taken away just now, when you were 'meditating' in your cell." Ray told me.

Looks like I pay no attention to the surroundings when I am in my own thought.

" Ok. So, where is the invisible bat that you were talking about?" I questioned.

I still don't quite believe in this "magic" thing.

" Here." Ray opened his palm, creating nothing with his golden dust.

" Where is the bat? I can't see anything. " I questioned, looking around.

Yes, his golden dust are there, floating around. But, I don't see the bat.

" It is a invisible bat." Ray raised his hands towards my direction.

I stared at him in disbelieve.

" What is this?"I queried, after something long touched my hand.

I hold onto it, sliding my fingers around its surface. The top is big and fat while the bottom is short and thin.

It is a bat.

A invisible bat.

" I got one more question." I looked up at Ray.

" What is it?" Ray asked in his tired, lazy voice.

" Well, why don't you do it instead, I mean hit David when he comes into your cell? " I questioned.

Ray laid his hands on the gate. " That is because I can't. David only goes into your cell because your cell has no small door for the food to slide through. "Ray answered, going back into the darkness.

" Just pretend that you are asleep. When he comes in,knock him down."
