Chapter 15 : Day 3 And The Other Half - Getting Chased Along The Escaping

Sleeping so soundly. Nothing could ever hurt me. Nothing. Nice car. Nice everything. Although the car is old, it is still fast.

I should have capture those faces when I was flying out of the gates. Those shocked faces.

Haha.

I feel so alive. Being Lizzie Warin Kirn. Knowing the truth sure helps with your mood.

" Knock. Knock. Knock."

I slowly opened my eyes, unravelling the scene that was appearing in front of me. The castle guards. Apparently, they were looking for me.

Luckily, I found a black hoodie behind the seats and a black pants.

" Yes, what may I help you with?" I squealed, changing my voice.

"We are looking for a girl who is about 5'2 foot tall, slim figure, pale skin. Have you by any chance seen her?" One of the guards asked.

" No." I answered in the most squeakiest voice ever.

" Thanks." The castle guards went away.

Phew. That was close.

I immediately closed the window, buckle up. Must move on to the next location.

I stepped on the "go" pedal. Better get out of here.

If I get caught, who knows what would happen to me.

I drove along the road. How quiet can the streets be?

No one was on the streets. It was as if no one existed here. This is getting creepy.

I stopped the car, to look closer. Nope, all doors were shut. Windows were closed. Seriously?

Time to move on.

I continued driving on. I wanted to move to a place where there will be someone. At least one person.

Driving was not great, especially for 12 year-old. I must continue. For the sake of my kingdom.

Driving pass a big, huge tree with red tiny little fruits hanging from each branch. Wow, since when did I turn so responsible? This realisation thing sure changed me.

Hmmm......... This calls for a change.

I stared out at the big road,looking carefully at each detail. Hmmmm........

Stepping harder on the pedal, I sped away.

This is going to be the new Lizzie Warin Kirn!

Trees and grasses along the road could no longer be seen as I sped through the road of streets. This is great, nobody is going to catch me now !

All of the time that I am having now seemed so great! If only it could last for a eternity. .........

" Aquarius Elise, please stop your car immediately !" A voice boomed from the back.

They are coming.

I took one quick glance back, only to see a police car behind me. This day just couldn't get worse........

I stepped harder on the pedal, driving forward. But, the word "speed" does not work on them. They had their own plans.

" This is our last warning. If you do not stop the car and come out to surrender yourself, we will not hesitate to chase you down ." The voice announced.

Last warning?

I better hurry. Those people are dangerous.

Ome of my foot stood on the seat as the other food touched the pedal. Here goes nothing........

" Zoomed!........" I sped forward, past all of the police who were catching up with me.

This should give me some time to escape......

I drove forward, past the main road. Hope that I am safe.......

I looked around. No police. Lucky me.

Escaping is definitely not one of my talents.

I stared for a while before I looked back to the front.

Uh oh.

The police cars were in front of me.

Shit.

I sat back in place, putting both handa on the steering wheel. Time to make a second escape!

I spun the steering wheel and turned to the side. Luckily there is another path.

The police stepped out of their car, holding their guns towards my direction as I sticked my tongue out at them.

Bad mistake.

I did not saw another car in front me. I stared at the car in bewilderment.

I must stop the car before it crashes!

My foot immediately went to step on the "stop" pedal. Too bad for me, I was too late.

" Ah!............" I screamed.

What else could I do? Stand up in my car and shout "Oh look, I am going to be killed. This is so exciting!". Or even better, jump off of my car when it is at it's maximum speed and try to be like tarzan. " Aaaaaaaa!"

I crashed.

I think.

I don't really know. All I saw was the night sky rising above my head.............
