" Are we there yet?" I asked, tugging Natalie's shirt.

This sounds a bit cliché, just like the books that I have read......... Wait, since when have I read books?

" Not yet." Natalie answered, munching on her bread.

So good...... She still got food.

" I want food!" I cried.

Why? Why? Why didn't I buy more food?

" Well, you should have saved your bread yesterday afternoon." Natalie stated.

Well, I was hungry..........  Unlike you who doesn't eat lunch regularly.

Like the last time I said, we are walking. I couldn't really find another word to replace it.

" So, how long are we going to be reaching there?" I questioned.

" Tomorrow morning." Natalie replied, finishing the bread.

Tomorrow morning, now is only morning! No!.......... Wish that I can get there now.

" Well, we wouldn't have been in situation if the magbus was working." Natalie stated, upon looking at my face.

Magbus? What is that?

" It was a bus that work on magic."

Magic? But lonac has no magic? How is it even possible?

" But- the buses were gifts from Kirn. The King and Queen of Kirn sent it as a gift for Princess Lonarin's birth." Natalie explained, sounding like a zombie.

Princess Lonarin.......... Lonarin.

" So, why isn't the bus working anymore?" I questioned, thinking through.

"Well, the first reason is that after the war , no one wanted to ride on the magbus since it reminded them about the killings and fightings. The second reason was that there was no longer any magic left in the bus' system." Natalie continued, "no one knows clearly why it suddenly stopped working but, all we know that it has disappeared four months ago. "

What?...........

" Then do you know the reason?" I asked, looking at Natalie.

Natalie grinned. " Of course I do. But, it soes not contain any logic in it. Since magic itself isn't logic at all." Natalie replied.

Okay.........

" The true reason was that Kirn was destroyed. Only small lands remain."

" What does-The core of the island, which is the source of magic, was destroyed.  There was no more source of magic left for the bus to work on. So, after the bus used up all of the magic, it would stop working. Get it?" Natalie told me, making the "do you get it or not" face.

Okay........ So , what she basically said was that the bus stopped working after it used up it"s magic because there was no more source of magic, which is also the core of Kirn. Okay, I get it. But, why did it disappear all of a sudden?

" If you got anymore question please ask them in the library tomorrow." Natalie informed like how a teacher would.

Looks like I got to stuff the question inside my mouth.

" I am still so tired and hungry." I rubbed my stomach.

Poor stomach........ I need food!

We continued down the pavement that never seemed to end, just like the road. No that I want to complain or anything, but they should totally have buses. I am tired of walking.

" Well, if you look up now, you might find food." Natalie spoke.

Food?

I looked up. A town! Looks like there is another town before reaching the next.

I ran up towards the town. Not too big, not too small, just right. There were many shops in that town selling food. Homemade bread, sandwiches, fruits and cookies. " Hey Natalie, do you want anything?" I asked after paying for the bread.

Natalie was standing in front of a shop selling snacks. " What are you looking at?" I walked towards the shop, wondering what she is looking at.

A packet of potato chips. " Do you want it?" I questioned, taking out my wallet.

Natalie stared at me. " You think?" She replied, walking off.

If she wanted it, she could have at least say "please" . *sigh* Looks like that is never going to happen.

I handed the lady my card. " Is this all?" She asked,"you can buy more of our snacks."

Looks like paying with the card is a lot more harder than paying with the old money.

" No thanks. That is all."I answered politely.

I walked out of the shop, only to find natalie standing by the door. " Did you buy it?" She questioned.

Am I suppose to buy it in the first place?

" I brought it." I took the packet of potato chips out.

Natalie took it, walking off. She could have at least said a "thank you" .

I zipped my bag, rushing forward. Natalie was already chomping down the chips, crunching them down with her teeth. " What are you looking at ?" Natalie asked, after swallowing down her food.

" Have you never eaten them before ?" I questioned.

Natalie looked away, walking faster. Looks like living with an old lady also means no unhealthy snacks.

I hurried along, following. I looked up to the blue sky. It wasn't really that blue , with white fluffy clouds floating around. The bright , shining sun was already high in the sky, directly above us. " We will have to eat. " I told Natalie.

Natalie showed me her " obviously " face. We walked towards a huge tree , sitting under the tree. " Your bread. " I threw the bread towards Natalie. Luckily, she caught it.

I took out mine, eating it. I wonder when can I enjoy eating delicious food?
