Y/n took a deep breath, adjusting the sleeves to her outfit. She wasn't wearing her normal Ilvermorny uniform and was instead in the quidditch outfit.

Her hands and and legs were covered by leather boots and gloves. instead of her normal skirt she had a pair of dark blue pants. Her robe was black with red edges, the sleeves only coming down to her elbows.

Y/n was waiting for the call to join the other champions to get ready for the first task. She was very, very nervous, and it didn't help that she had just drunken a the whole bottle of Fire Protection Potion and it didn't taste very good.

No one was waiting with y/n in her little area, since she was the only person from Ilvermorny at the school. While the other champions were surrounded by their friends, y/n stood alone. Her Hogwarts friends had tried to go over to her but were stopped by the teachers, saying that only people from her school were allowed where she would be waiting.

Y/n didn't mind. She needed time to think alone. Her stomach was doing flip flops and her hands had become very sweaty. The longer she waited the more nervous she got.

After two hours of sitting closed off in a tent, y/n had enough. She leaped up, running her hand through her hair before pushing her way through the flaps of her tent.

"Hey! What the hells taking so long? I'm gonna die of a heart attack in there of were waiting any longer!" She exclaimed. The many teachers in the room before her turned, surprise written on their faces.

"Clam down y/n, well be starting very soon. Actually, we should explain everything to the champions now." Said Dumbledore.

The teachers of the other two schools went to fetch their champions while y/n tapped her foot, repeatedly tugging at her hair in nervousness. Dumbledore eyed the girl, a small smile on his face.

He approached her, his hands folded in front of him. He stopped walking next to her, facing forward. Y/n looked at him, expecting him to say something. Dumbledore peeked at her from the corner of his eye, a sly smile on his face.

"I'll be cheering for you y/n, just, don't tell Mr. Diggory or Mr. Potter." He whispered. Y/n's nervous expression melted into a smile.

"Hehe, thanks. You'll be the only one though." She said, shrugging. Dumbledore shook his head while chuckling, his eyes twinkling in amusement. Y/n raised her eyebrows, looking at the older man in confusion. "What's so funny?"

"oh, I just suspect that there will be plenty of people cheering along with me. You're quite popular young lady." He said. Y/n turned red, huffing a little.

"Tell that to the people back in Ilvermorny. They hated me." She said. Dumbledore stroked his beard.

"Well, I am still considering having you transferred to Hogwarts." Y/n eyes widened as she turned to look at Dumbledore.

"Holy shit! I forgot about that!! So.... what are you leaning towards? Because, I think I fit in pretty well here. I even won over Snape, and that guy hates everyone!" Dumbledore smiled, his blue eyes flashing.

"I don't know yet. Just do your best in the tournament and I'll see." Y/n pouted, crossing her arms.

"You're mean. I didn't want to be in your lame school anyways..." Dumbledore raised his eyebrow. "I'm kidding! Please let me go here!"

All five champions stood in the main room of the tent, all looking at Barty Crouch who was telling the group what the first task was.

"For the first task, each of you will be facing a dragon." He said, expecting them to look surprised. Y/n gasped loudly, covering her mouth with her hands.
