Here's a revised drawing of how I imagine Y/n! ^^ :) You'll find her saying that sometime very soon ;)

--

Rod and I continue our walk to the front gate of the palace, which is being guarded by multiple soldiers. They bow to us as we walk to the main entrance. However, as I'm about to open the door, Rod quickly intercepts by grabbing my hand quickly.

"Y/n. We are not allowed to leave the palace without any guards or carriages." He states. I pout and sigh. I forgot that Rod is against breaking the rules, and I suppose even if I opened the gate and walked on my own, all the guards would immediately stop me, and father would definitely lecture me.

"Aw, fine. Let's go in a carriage then," I reply, looking at the one that's parked in front of the castle. The gates are slowly pushed open, and the driver bows to us.

Rod and I sit inside, and the carriage starts moving into the town of Angielle. We don't make any small talk. I stare outside the window, seeing the people cheerfully talk to one another and the children playing games.

What a lovely town. I just wish Lucette could see it.

Sighing quietly, I sit straight up and take a peek at Rod, whose face is unbothered as ever.

It seems as I've stared at him for too long, as he makes eye contact back.

"..Anything wrong, Y/n?" Rod asks, turning his attention back into the town.

I smile out of embarrassment and shake my head. "Nope, but it's just that, um how should I put it. You always look bored?" My voice squeaks. Darn it, why am I like this?

He looks at me and chuckles a bit. Wow, this is pretty uncommon and plus Rod just laughed when I said he always looks bored, how ironic!

Suddenly, the horses come to a stop and the door is opened for me by a guard.

"Thank you!" I say, and the soldier smiles as he then helps me, then my brother down.

We walk a fair distance away from the carriage, having two guards follow, but not close enough where they can potentially hear our conversation.

Now that Rod and I are at the town, what now? Perhaps we could visit all the shops, or even ask people if they remember a girl named "Lucette"? Actually, that's a bad idea. If they really don't remember her, It'll just make me look weird.

Pushing my hair back, I look at Rod with a sheepish smile.

"Any ideas?"

He stares at me back, then back at the town.

"...I suppose we could go ask people if they've seen a girl with peach-colored hair and golden eyes." Rod mutters. "However, it's an inefficient plan that could lead to nothing."

I grin, that was exactly my first thought. Maybe Rod and I share the same brain cells.

But anyway, I've just realized what this situation really is like now. If Lucette's own family doesn't remember her, except for Rod and I, how will the townspeople who finally seen her after years, will? Besides, I don't remember a time where a member of the royal family went missing. That means we have to decide on our own what to do.

I sigh and take multiple deep breaths, trying to relax my body and brain.

"We need to start somewhere....ah, wait!" I exclaim. Rod turns to me, gesturing me to spit out my idea.

"Rod, you remember the toy shop, right? The one where we all went to, including Lucette?" I ask.

He nods.

"That was the only place my sister visited in four years, and since she is memorable, I'm certain that the owner of the shop, Viorica, would remember her!"  I state. My brother seems to react to the name 'Viorica', I do wonder what happened between him and the girl? However, that can wait for later, we need to figure out where Lucette is now.

"....Hmm, let's try that. But what happens if that leads to nothing?" Rod replies, lifting up an eyebrow.

I shrug.

"Then I guess we go from there."
