Kaycee awoke with a start, jolting out of the comfort of her bed with a smile and a pep in her step.

She has never been a morning person, but something about the New York air just made her heart leap with possibilities.

When the two had arrived at the hotel later the night prior, she and Sean played rock, paper, scissors to determine who would get the room with the on-suite bathroom. Luckily, after years of practice, she was able to beat him easily; she was thankful for this as she sat in the warmth of her shower, unable to stop moving, the level of excitement she was currently at making it hard to stop and rest.

Believe it or not, their first night in New York was pretty tame. They were so tired from the plane ride that they simply looked at the sights of the city on the shuttle to the hotel, and then said goodbye to the rest of the cast upon arrival, before heading up to their hotel room along with Jade and Charlize. She recalls Charlize staying especially close to Sean, but it was merely an insignificant blip in the timeline, because the next thing she knew the elevator doors were opening and she was racing into the hotel room.

The view from their window was incredible. Lights and cars and people scattered along the ground, and she was able to view it all from a balcony they could access from the living room. Bill really seemed to have outdone himself. She avoided the balcony for the time being, however, because it brought back some memories.

The sound of someone jiggling the bathroom doorknob made her jump out of her remembering, grasping the shower curtain quickly and wrapping it around her body. She relaxed when she realized she was smart enough to lock the door. "What do you want? There's another bathroom!"

"I need more towels!" Sean says exasperatedly from the other side of the door.

She laughs. "What do you mean? How many towels could you possibly need?"

Softly, almost so softly she couldn't hear him over the sound of the running water, his muffled voice said, "One of them may be for the milk I dropped on the floor."

This made her laugh so loudly she snorted. She reluctantly turned the shower off and wrapped herself in a towel, grabbing three more towels and walking to the door. When she opens it, Sean nearly falls through, grabbing onto the doorway to keep from face planting.

"You didn't need to fling it open like-" he begins, but when he realizes what she's standing in, he turns around quickly, a hand shielding his eyes. "Wow. Wow. You could've- I didn't mean-"

"Are you joking? You heard the shower running, what did you expect?" When he didn't answer, she rolled her eyes, tossing the towels at the back of his head. "Quit being a weirdo. It's a towel!" She calls as she closes the door.
