Sunlight peeked through the curtains of the hotel room right on Kaycee's tired eyes, the only thing sticking out of her covers at the minute.

She had been awake for quite awhile now. Hours, maybe. But she couldn't bring herself to get up and do anything. She didn't want to think about what happened last night, but she knew that was why.

Josh already left for the day, considering today was the last day all these dancers would be in the same place. Many of them were going to theme parks, or for lunch, or for more parties. Parties.

She clenches her eyes shut.

No thoughts she keeps repeating, until that's the only thing she can think about.

Out of nowhere, Tahani rolls over to look at her, eyes wide open. It almost startles her. In a hushed voice, so as not to wake up Sean, she whispered, "How long have you been up?"

Kaycee moves the blanket beneath her chin to talk more clearly. "I don't know. A couple hours"

"Kayc.." Tahani says with sincerity, shaking her head. "I know you're probably still thinking about last night-"

"Let's not talk about it."

"I know, I know," she continues, "I just meant that even though you're probably thinking about it, you should get some rest. Maybe it'll help you."

For some unknown reason, that statement made her eyes cloud up with tears. "I've tried already, T," she replies, voice raspy and filled with sadness.

Tahani sighs, and then practically throws herself out of bed. "How about we go get some breakfast?"

"I'd rather eat here," Kaycee says, "but thanks."

Another sigh. "Okay. How about I go downstairs and grab some and we can have breakfast in bed and watch whatever's playing on TV?"

For the first time, Kaycee shoots her a small smile. "Sure. Thank you"

As soon as she leaves and the door clicks, her face falls. She shouldn't be this sad. In fact, she should've saw it coming. Yet here she was, not wanting to leave bed for anything, and barely even wanting food. For a moment, she sat with her eyes closed, hoping for something to happen- for tears to fall, or her brain to explode- but nothing did.

The only thing that knocked her out of it was the feeling of someone's gaze on the side of her head.

She opens her eyes and slowly glances over her right shoulder, Sean looking more awake than she thought he would, staring at her intently. For a millisecond, they just stared.

Finally, Sean broke the silence. "Hey."

"Hi." She replied weakly.
