The sun was setting in the beautiful Kingdom of Daegu but the feasting and celebration were nowhere close, to coming to an end. It was a very special evening for the people of Daegu. Why, you may ask. Well, it was special because it was a royal's birthday, and not just any royal. It was the Prince's 23rd birthday. Prince, Min Yoongi, single heir to the throne of Daegu.

Upstairs, the young Prince sat in his room, staring out his window at the beautiful kingdom that was soon to be his. His birthday celebration was still going on downstairs and would definitely last till morning.
The prince however, was in no mood to party. He had never been a fan of noisy and crowded areas, not to talk of big parties with at least 500 invitees.
The Prince was a quiet and introverted person who'd been locked in the palace, all his life. Not locked literally, but he'd never left the palace and the people of Daegu had not known what he'd looked like for years, until this particular morning when he turned 23 and his birthday was broadcasted for the first time. The people of Daegu immediately fell in love with the young prince. He was so handsome, so small and looked just as timid as he was intimidating.
Being locked up and unable to socialize, not that he even wanted to, was still not some sort of limitation for the young Prince. Yes, he was naïve, but not that naïve as he wasn't completely cut from the rest of the world. The Prince would expand his knowledge through books and novels, and also through what his cousin would tell him. She would also bring movies that they would watch together, educating him on what he needed to know, about the outside. He knew enough to survive out there, but at the same time, remained naïve on a few things. Like what?
Kisses, love, physical attraction, crushes, heartbreaks and sex. He was naïve when it came to intimate relationships with whosoever. He was also naïve when it came to socializing and didn't know how to approach people for friendship. Normal. Not only was he introverted, he'd never even had the chance to try out these things, after spending a greater part of his life in the palace. He knew no one other person than his cousin and the general, that was also his very good friend. -
Yoongi's brows furrowed as he stared out this window. He was supposed to he happy about his birthday and for the face that he could finally leave the palace and be seen by his people. But he wasn't. He wasn't because, he knew what was coming. He'd been told from the age of ten. It was inevitable.
Yoongi was betrothed. His hand was to promised to a princess of another kingdom and both kingdoms had made an agreement that the Prince would marry the princess, once he would turn 23 years of age. Yoongi did not want this but he had no choice. It was his duty as the crowned Prince, to seal the relationship of both kingdoms, with a wedding.
