Yoongi had started running out of air in his hideout and it scared him. He'd ran to the end of the tunnel only to discover that it was now blocked on the outside. He raced back towards the library but the shelf wouldn't push open anymore. A part of the library had been destroyed and some heavy logs of wood from the broken ceiling had collapsed in front of the shelf, blocking it.

Yoongi had cried for help for up to two hours. He was now weak and slowly suffocating. He lay on the cold, humid floor, hugging himself tight and shivering. The tunnel was very cold and he was freezing.

He sobbed in the darkness, no one there to hear or help him. He knew it was over. He knew he would die there, in the debris of the library that was once his favorite place, in the palace.

"M- mother," he sobbed weakly, "Fa- father, Jennie~" he tried to think of his family, knowing that they were probably safe and that helped comfort him a little.

Yoongi's vision was slowly beginning to blur out because of the lack of air.

'Don't give up, Yoongi. You'll be fine. Think of your parents and sister. Think of Namjoonah. Oh gawd, I hope he's okay.'

Another bomb outside shook the palace and Yoongi shivered, hearing more parts of the library collapse. Soon everything would collapse on the tunnel and Yoongi would be trapped until death freed him.

'I- I don't want to die. My family will suffer. I have so much more to accomplish. Seunghee...'

He thought of the princess.

'I hope she marries someone stronger than I've ever been. A brave prince.'

Yoongi shivered and hugged himself tighter.

"Ho- Hoseok~" he breathed, his lips quivering, "Jung- Jung Hoseok~" he whispered, "My- my best friend."

'He would never give up if he was in such a situation. I should be brave like he would be. I should try so that if I do survive, he'll be proud of me.'
