It was time.

Thanos had finally used the stones and it caused the monitors to go off like crazy, meaning whatever he did was big. Astrid was the first one to notice, she had used some of Anthony's hacking skills to attach the monitor to her coded bracelet. As soon as it went off, she jumped up off the couch and ran into  the meeting hall, surprised to see everyone making there way there.

"Good, we can just go." She said, about to grab her leather jacket. Natasha placed her hand on top of hers, stopping it. "Not so fast Tiger, we have to figure out a plan of action." The spy stated. Astrid groaned and rolled her eyes. "We can plan on the fucking plane." "Language." Cap said. "Whatever. As I was saying, plan later go now." She was about to start walking away when a cusp of gold energy lifted her up. She rolled her eyes again, but a smile lie behind the look.

"Carson, put me the hell down so we can go." The teenage boy walked over so that he was facing her. "Hate to admit it but we need a plan. Going in bind could just cost us more lives." "And waiting delays the bringing back of my friends. Fuck this planning mess it's time to go!"

"Astrid please!" Pepper yelled. It was a shock considering how nice and quiet she usually was. "Look, I know you really wan to bring back your friends, we do, too. Heaven's sakes, that's our son we lost out there, our only child snapped away." Tony looked down, recalling the last moments he had with his son. "And Steve and Nat lost their daughter, biologically birthed by her or not that's still her parents, they still lost her." Steve nodded, Natasha cleared her throat. "Lilly was Clint's daughter, everyone he cared about, everyone in his family besides Natasha was taken from him within seconds, including her. And Ben...he may have never gotten to see his father in this timeline, but he had you, a family and friends and now he's gone. So all I ask of you is to please...wait. Don't jeopardize our last chance to bring back our children."

Pepper began to sob, a tear fell from Astrid's eye but she quickly wiped it away. Carso set her down and wrapped her in a hug. "Ok...what's the plan?" She asked. Steve stood up. "We go in, see what Thanos is using the stones for, take the stones, make sure Thanos or anyone else can ever use the stones again, fix the world."

"You couldn't have said that while we were on the...never mind, let's just go." "Everyone loaded into the space craft, ready to save the world. "Any of you not been to space before?" Rocket asked. "Natasha, Steve and a few others raised their hands. "No puking on the seats, and hold on tight." Rocket pressed a few buttons and they were off.

"Astrid."  The voice said. "Astrid it's me, wake up!" The voice yelled. Astrid shook her head, but something about this voice made her open her eyes. "Who the..." It was Sarah, standing over her with  a smile. "Hey girl." She said. Astrid shook her head. "This can't be real, Sarah's dead ...like the others."  Sarah shook her head and laughed. "You must have had to much to drink last night, I'm not dead just married." Astrid looked shocked. "Ma-married?" She repeated. "Yes, married, As are you ok?"  She asked, sitting down next to her. Astrid took a moment to answer, studying her surrondings. It was a classic country style house, a window was to her right and was able to look out and see that there was a white picket fence and beyond it, plains of grass for miles.

It looked quiet, peaceful, the complete opposite of what their life was. Sarah's hair was out naturally as it usually was, she wore a light amount of natural looking makeup and a white cotton dress. She looked so happy but five years older. "Let's say I did have a lot to drink last night and I don't remember anything. Who did you marry?" A smile spread across Sarah's face. "Well, I married the wonderful fantasic Anthony Howard Stark Jr." Astrid smiled, what was I wearing, what were we wearig?" "I had on an overly expensive white mermaid style wedding dress that Pepper insisted I get. You had on what the other bridesmaids had on, a short white flowy dress, you looked beautiful." Astrid had never seen Sarah this happy, and at least in whatever world this was she was married to the love of her life.

"Was it your dream wedding?" She asked her. Sarah nodded. "Yeah, it was." "Mommy!" A childs voice yelled. Three kids came running into the room, all with curly hair and caramel skin. "Yes baby?" Mommy, baby? These couldn't be...they weren't... "Kiyanna took my...my toy." The boy said sniffling. The only girl in the room shook her head. "Nuh uh! Anthony took my doll."  The other boy started to laugh, as if this were a regular occurrence in this house. Sarah finally intervened. "Ky, did you take your brother's toy?" She asked, kneeling so that they were eye level.

The girl looked at her as if she were thinking of the best way to lie. Astrid guessed that she changed her mind because she nodded. "Yea, I threw it out the window." Anthony nodded, "She did mommy!" He yelled. The third child patted his brother on the back. "Anthony...you can play with my toy!" "No, Jerrell!" Anthony Jr. yelled. "All three of you go to your room, I'm talking to Auntie Astrid right now." Auntie Astrid? That at least means that they were really close. "Bye auntie Astrid!" They said, running off. "And Kiyanna, stop bullying your brothers!" You could hear the faint giggle of an excited little girl.

Sarah finally turned back to Astrid. "Sorry about that, you know how they are. Anyway, do you want me to drop you off at your apartment, I'm sure Ben's there waiting." Ben, he was still alive. Maybe this world wasn't so bad after all, what if this was real life and the tragedy she was living in before was the dream. If this was her reality, she never wanted to leave.

"Yeah, you can take me home."
