A week had passed since the fight and Ted hasn't had a moment's rest since. Between his dad scolding him and Oscar for the fight to dodging William at school and even trying to keep his head down as to not be noticed by any other Demons. Classes seemed to pass by in a blur and honestly he didn't even feel like he was learning anything anymore. The only thing he could remember from class was occasionally looking over to find Olivia looking at him before quickly shoving her face back into her book.

'Didn't we get over this?' Ted thought to himself. He wondered this because honestly it was like nothing had changed with her in the past week. She would sit a bit closer at lunch but that was about it. She still followed him around like a lost puppy. You know it's bad when even Pip starts to question it but honestly Ted didn't even have an answer. He even took to eating lunch on the roof with Pip and Jim just to take a break from the attention he was getting.

His hand was getting better from the fight as well. Lilith scolded him for pulling such a stunt but Ted didn't regret it. He looked cool and he won. That's all that mattered. Well, it did hurt but that's not the point.

"Ted?"

"Yes Eve?"

"I think Mr. Scaleless is staring at you again."

Ted looked up and sure enough, Mr. Scaleless was on the other side of his desk glaring at the boy with murderous intent. He lifted up a small chalkboard with the words 'Don't Touch My Daughter' on it. He then lowered it before lifting up a second board with the words 'Or Else...'.

"Eve?"

"Yes Ted?"

"I think you're right."

Lunch finally came along and Ted tried his best to hurry to the roof before anyone could stop him. Unfortunately everyone seemed to be looking for him. First was Ms. Val who wanted to ask him about Jim. Ted simply covered for his friend, claiming he was on time for school even though he was late by two hours, and tried to escape the conversation before Ms. Val stopped him once more.

"What happened to your hand?" She asked pointing to the still wrapped hand. Ted internally panicked before thinking of an excuse. "Smashed my hand with my locker door." He lied. Ms. Val seemed content with the answer and allowed him to leave which gave Ted a chance to make a b-line to the stairs before he was stopped by William.

"I just want to eat." Ted complained.

William grabbed his arm and dragged him away from the hall and into an empty classroom. This gain a few suspicious looks from other students but William didn't seem to care. Once he closed the door, Will turned to Ted.

"Explain yourself. Now." He demanded.

Ted gave him a questioning look obviously confused. What did he have to explain. If Ms. Val didn't know he was in the fight, why would Will? Then again William was very serious about his job. Very serious. He once gave a senior detention just for falling asleep in class.

"What do you want me to explain?" Ted just asked unamused. William rolled his eyes and smacked Ted's head in annoyance. Ted rubbed his head a bit. "Olivia. I told you to stay away!" This again? Ted figured William was over this by now but he just didn't care anymore. Yeah it was creepy with her following him around but she seemed nice enough. What did he even have against her?

"Right. About that, I don't care. I hang out with whoever the hell I want. Who said you can tell me otherwise?" Ted said fed up. William grabbed his head in frustration. "I'm trying to help you! She's a social outcast and pretty soon, you will be to. I mean, Jim is bad enough and you're bffs or whatever with Pip who is clearly not all there. Don't get me started with the chaos sisters! Oh! And your adoptive siblings are in a world of their own so there's that. Let's not forget your relationship with Eve. It seems like you're just racking up reasons for people to avoid you."
