Risk It All

Chapter 6

~Zoie's POV~
Daniel and I decided to go to the mall for a while. We both put on a hoodie because it was kinda chilly outside.
"You hungry babe?" Daniel asked.
"Kinda, yeah."
"Wanna get from the food court or chipotle?"
"Food court." I smiled. So we headed to the mall food court. Daniel, of course, got noticed by a few fans. But it wasn't bad. After we ate we began to walk around.
"OMG BUILD A BEAR." I exclaimed.
"Are we about to make build a bears?" He chuckled.
"YES!" With that, we went into the store and decided we would make each other a bear. After we did that it was time to go back to the venue. So we got an Uber and headed back.

When we got back to the venue, Daniel and I headed to the green room.
"Here babe." I said as I threw a water bottle to him.
"Thanks." He replied, opening and starting to drink it. I got my phone out and texted Gabbie.
Z- Wya?
G- Gas station on our way back- need anything?
Z- Cab you grab me a sprite?
G- Sure thang
I put my phone away as Daniel sat down beside me.
"I'm tired." He sighed.
"Take a nap." I suggested.
"Napping is boring."
"How dare you disrespect napping!" I fake-gasped. We chuckled and I kissed his head as he laid on my lap. After about five minutes he fell asleep. I scrolled through Twitter until Gabbie, Jack, and Lavender came back.
"I want my baby." I smiled as I reached for her. She was asleep so Gabbie placed her on my chest. Daniel woke up just for a second and turned and wrapped his arms around me before falling back asleep. Soon, I fell asleep too.

I was later woken up by Daniel getting up.
"Where're you going?" I frowned.
"Catering is ready then I have an interview." He said, petting my face with his thumb.
"C'mon, if Lav doesn't wake up soon she won't sleep tonight." He reminded me. I nodded and got up with him then went to change her diaper. Once she was awake, we all went to catering.
"Good morning sleepyhead." Gabbie greeted Lavender as I handed her to her. Daniel and I got our food and sat down.

After dinner and the interview, the guys had to go to warm ups and I went to start working. I double checked the levels to make sure nothing had been changed. Soon, Daniel texted me.
D- Hey babe, my big brother Tyler just got here and is coming to help.
Z- Thanks for the heads up that I'm meeting your family😂😂😂
D- Oh... my mom might be coming to😂😂
Z- DANIEL
D- SORRY
I put my phone away as I heard someone say my name.
"Zoie?" A guy said.
"Yep- you must be Tyler." I replied, shaking his hand.
"Yep. Nice to meet you. What can I help with?"
"Uhm I think everything is set here I just gotta get the guys' in ears in." I shrugged.
"Okay, let's go do that." He nodded. So we grabbed their in ears and headed backstage as the arena began flooding with fans. A bunch of girls tried to call out to Tyler but he just waved and kept walking. When we got backstage I grabbed my walkie talkie.
"I have Tyler and we're heading to put in ears in." I said.
"Copy." Manager Dave replied. As we reached the green room where the boys were, Dave announced five minutes till opener.
"Tyler!" The guys all exclaimed as we walked in.
"Sup guys." He laughed as he hugged them all.
"Where's Gabbie?" I asked, noticing she wasn't there.
"She took Lavender to go walk." Jack replied.
"Oh! Zoie, this is my mom. Mom, this is Zoie." Daniel introduced us.
"Hi." I smiled as she hugged me.
"It's so nice to finally meet you!" She exclaimed. After we made small talk for a minute, I got back on track.
"Boys, in ears." I told them. So Daniel came up and I handed him his pack and the rest got in line and got theirs too.
"Okay, five till intro." Dave announced.
"I gotta go." I told Daniel.
"Okay, love you." He said kissing my head.
"Love you too. Good luck." I replied as I kissed his head. With that, Tyler and I headed back to the sound area. As we arrived Daniel texted me.
D- Hey after show wanna grab some coffee?
Z- You're cute- we don't have time 😂
D- Ugh. Next stop I'm taking you out.
Z- Okieee
I put my phone away as the intro started. Tyler put ear plugs in and I put the ear piece in so the guys could talk to me during the show if they needed levels changed.

After the show ended I helped security usher people out. The ones who got the Limelight package were sent to another room so we could clean before limelight started. Once we were done, the fans were let in.

Dave- Fans in?
Z- Yep. Five till boys.
Dave- Okay, give them the run down.
I put my walkie talkie down and got on the stage and grabbed a microphone.
"Hi guys! My name is Zoie. So, the boys will be out in about five minutes. Any gifts given to the boys will then be given to me and I will put them away safely. There is no need to worry because I will make sure they get them. Also, please don't hog them. There's a lot of you and only five of them and they want to hang out with all of you. And finally please be considerate. If they don't want to do a pose for a picture they don't have to. That's all! Have fun!" I said as I put the microphone down.
