I woke up like a rock. And by that I mean not at all.
At least until it was time to go to school. "CAMMIE!" My mom screamed up the stairs.
It was then I shot awake. "No." I mumbled, already in the bathroom. I grabbed my makeup bag and rifled through.
Blue eyeshadow painted my lid. Eyeliner stroked over it and I quickly put on some mascara.
I had no time for concealer so the pimple on my forehead was just going to have to make an appearance for a while.
I ran to the basket that I put my clothes in and grabbed a black sweater. Fricking crap, my eyeshadow is blue.
I quickly remedied this by tugging on a pair of blue skinny jeans. The problem was- I discovered I can't brush my teeth and do that at the same time.
After that was over, I ran a brush through my brown hair and pulled it into a ponytail. It was too late to manage with my bangs, so I pulled them up underneath a plain blue headband.
Please please please. I ran downstairs and grabbed a plain bagel on the way out. A honk from outside and I padded out in my socks, with my black converse in my hand.
All of this would be fine and almost normal if it hadn't been the first day of school.
