I was afraid of what I felt when he walked up to me. Josh Jacobs was just so wow. I mean, not just in looks but he was just so- wow. I gulped like an anime character and then grinned. Wait. My teeth. I shut my mouth, smirking instead. "Hey." he said. I don't have a crush on this kid I don't even know him. "Hey." I said, shifting my weight to one side and shoving my hands into my pockets. Josh did the same and made a face. "So what's up?" He said, looking to the side. I shrugged. "Nothing much- what about you?" He cracked a smile- the same smile I had seen on the boy in the pictures on Facebook. "What?" I said, finding myself beaming as well. "It's just- " I said, then I saw what he was looking at. I spun around, and a girl I hadn't ever seen before stood there, a face frozen in mid-gag. "Hey!" I said. "It's my job to make fun of people- who the heck are you?" I asked, my hands on my hips. The girl mocked offense, one hand going to her chest. "You haven't heard of me?" she gasped.

If Josh's groan had been any louder, it could have blown us both over. "Cammie- this is my um-Sofie, sister. I mean this my sister, Sofie." he stuttered, and I smiled, saluting at the girl. I could see it. I thought.

Her hair was blonde, waving down her shoulders in a natural wave. She wore minimal makeup, something I was jealous of. Other than that, she was like a female version of Josh.

"I love your shirt." I commented, my eyes on her Doctor Who tee hanging off one shoulder. Sofie grinned, and there was a barely audible gasp from Josh. I might have some interest in him- but what was up?

"Thanks- have you seen the newest episode?" I shook my head. "I don't have cable- I have to wait until it comes out in Netflix." Sofie pushed her hair out of her eyes. "That's a bummer." She said. "They're so good."
I beamed. "Yeah. Probably." "Well-" Sofie said suddenly. "This shirt is Josh's." My jaw dropped, and I turned to Josh. "It is?" Josh nodded, a smirk spreading across his face. I felt my eyes crinkle and I stepped over to him. "Hi." I said in my most awkward voice. He smiled his perfect smile and Sofie spoke up. "Well I have to go." She started away, ruffling Josh's hair. "See you later, Joshy. " I laughed.

When she had gone, I giggled. "I like your sister." I said, guesturing for us to go into the building."I do too." He said, and I could feel my heart expand like I was the Grinch or something.

There was a second of silence and Josh cleared his throat. "So- hey-" he said, looking at me with his mesmerizing blue green grey kalidascope eyes. "This is kinda weird- um-" I looked back at him. "What's u-" I started, but Josh cut me off by suddenly blurting, "Hey are you into Photography?" My eyes went wide. "One hundred twelve and a half percent." I said, nodding a bit for extra vigor.

"Well I'm in the photography class that they offer for sophomores and I was just wondering if you wanted to help because we needed a subject and I'm new and you're kinda the first person I met here." I grinned and felt my cheeks go hot as we entered the school. "Sure."
