Josh:
My eyes popped open, and I ran to the bathroom. I almost gasped at my reflection. It literally looks like I just murdered a bunch of kittens on my head. I wrestled it into position, brushing and puffing and spraying so much hairspray into it- I could probably impale somebody. And if I had Amber in anymore of my classes- I was going to consider it. "SOFIE!!!" I screamed, rapping on her door, my chest making little thub-wub sounds of excitment. "What?!" she cried, opening the door. The smell of newly put-in shampoo washed over me and I grinned at her towel-framed face. "Have I ever mentioned how great you look in the mornings?"
She scoffed, shutting the door, but I could hear the smile in her voice. "Give me ten minutes, Joshy." "Don't call me Joshy or I'll wreck your car." I said, leaning against the door. "The only person I would ever let call me Joshy," I said underneath my breath, lost in thought " Would be-" I stopped, my ears pricked. The room inside had gone eerily quiet. I made a face, knowing Sofie was listening. "-Nicholas Cage." Sofie exploded into a snort behind the door. I hit the wall once again. "Come on." I said. "You have ten minutes."
Twenty minutes later, Sofie stepped out of the house, grinning at my disgruntled face. She shrugged. And I shrugged when I ran her over with the car.
I'm only kidding- but my mood didn't improve until we got to the school. And I saw a ball of dark hair and a pair of big glasses that made me swallow like I was in a book or something.
Cammie:
I woke up in time- ish-. I may or may not have brushed my teeth in the shower. Josh. The thought shot through my half-asleep skull like an arrow. I shook it out. Brennan. Gosh dangit. Not even a little. I did my makeup, going over the paper I had written on him. Properly acceptable, I grabbed the eight gorgously typed papers that I had written on Brennan from the counter, looking over them in the car. Fricking crap he had better love this. I thought, sticking it in my backpack in the most careful moves I had done all day. -As you could see by my makeup-. We pulled up, and I stumbled out at the school, waving at my mom as I did. Suddenly, I saw a ball of dark hair and a pair of big glasses and my poor little heart high fived my lungs a little too hard.
Brennan:
"IAAAAAAN!!!!" I screamed. "WHAT?!" he yelled back, poking his head around the corner at the top of the stairs. "CAN WE LEAVE?!" I said. Ian grinned. "That's the best idea I've heard all day." I grabbed my papers that I wrote on Reemee- I mean Cammie- running out the door.Reemee:
I jumped out of bed and got dressed in almost minutes. My mom came into the room. "What's the rush for?" Chelsea asked, running her hands through her short blonde hair. I turned to her, grinning as I threw my bag over my shoulder. "I HAVE FRIENDS!" I said so loudly that Alexis came around the corner clapping. "Great job, sweetie." Chelsea said in the sarcastic mom voice she used to make fun of me. I scrunched up my face. "Shut up mom." I said. Alexis and Chelsea looked at me, looked at each other, and looked at me. "Okay cool." They said at the same time, turning to leave while slapping each other a high five. "I still need to go to school!" I cried after them.
