"AND I-i-i-i-I-i-i-i-i WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!!!" Reemee and I finished, the afternoon breeze blowing back our hair, my arm around her.

There was a moment of silence, then I started laughing, Reemee joining in. After the giggles died, she turned to me. "Hey Brennan." she said.

"What?" I asked, looking at her. She grinned, the delicate hairs on the back of her neck brushing against my thumb, sparking chills up my arms. "Haven't we passed the park, like, four times?"

I nodded, still smiling like an idiot. "Shouldn't we get there-" she said. "It's almost 7 o'clock." I nodded again. It was then that she punched my shoulder.

"Ow!" I said, even though it didn't hurt. "Come ON!" Reemee said, "I want to meet the magical Cammie creature."

I blinked. Cammie. "Oh yeah. Cammie." Reemee made a face at me and folded her arms. "And I was wondering why you were single." I looked at her. "How did you know?" I asked. Her eyebrow went up in indignation. "Point taken." I said. Point taken right in the feels. I thought.

I parked in the lot for the park, being careful of all nearby mailboxes.

Then I took a breath and texted Cammie. Sexy is in the building. Where is Butter Buns?

Her reply came almost immedietly. She must have been on her phone or something. Butter Buns (?) is near the tree with the scary swingset.

I turned to Reemee. "She's short, has brown hair, brown eyes, big glasses and is under a tree." Reemee looked at me, and I almost laughed at the look on her face. " Brennan." She said. "You realize that this IS a park." I grinned. "Luckily," She said, "I used to come here all the time with my moms." I sighed in relief. "What would I do without you, Reemee?" Then I stopped. 'Wait-" For once in my life, I was speechless.

Reemee turned to me and smiled at the look on my face. "You've never heard of someone with two parents of the same gender?"

I managed to rifle through my shock to find my voice. "Yes, I have- it's just- Isn't that physically impossible?" She smiled like a nurse smiles at a sickly child. "i'm not their real daughter, I- i was made in a lab."

After a second of stunned silence, I recovered. "Well, they did a good job." Reemee blushed, then her eyes lit up, and she pointed at a tree in the distance. "Hey- Is that her?"
