the humor behind "daddy"

Anonymous asked: do you think mia ever gets so far away that she starts calling him daddy and he kinda laughs because she sort of hates the word but then she feels like she's being laughed and he's so attentive and like no baby:(

hahahah i can totally imagine that!

she's laying on his chest, listening to his breathing. it's so nice how their heartbeats are in sync.

the word "daddy" rolls off her tongue before she can even process what she's saying. only a couple words. "i had fun, daddy," she whispers.

usually when she speaks and is this deep in subspace, harry's always got an answer for her. or a kiss on her face. neither comes this time so she pokes his tummy and says, "did you hear me, daddy? did you have fun?"

his chest begins to rumble underneath her. she looks at the birds on his chest, confused, and then his lips. her eyes slowly drag upwards to his dimples, to the curve of his nose...

she lifts her head up. "you're laughing?"

"i can't help it," he snickers.

she quiet for just a second before she pouts. "you're laughing at me?"

"of course not."

he doesn't sound very convincing, even to himself, so she continues to pout. "please don't laugh at me."

her serious tone makes him stop laughing at glance down at her. as suspected from her voice, her eyes are half filled with tears and her brows are furrowed together as if she wants to be angry, but she feels more betrayed than anything. he's the one who put her in subspace. he should be nice to her.

"oh baby," he murmurs as he cups her cheek. "oh i'm not laughing at you. i just thought it was cute that you hate the word—hey! hey none of that! no crying!"

this is just a little side note. i have a lot of these answers to asks that happen to be short, and i'm never sure if i should post them on wattpad or not. should i? because i know it takes like a total of three seconds to read "blurbs" like these haha.
