There's a lot of things Harry can help his submissive out with. He can teach her how to go down on him properly, or how to ask politely for what she wants, or even how to check to make sure her restraints aren't too tight to the point of discomfort. It's his job, he thinks, to make this easier on both of them, to make this relationship as simple as possible without too much concern or worry about pain. He'd love to teach her the ways of a dominant if she'd be up for it.

He knows how to give her the best aftercare since he's been through scenes after scenes to figure out what she likes after she's all finished, and he comes to the conclusion that she likes a hefty amount of cuddling followed by either a bath or a shower with the water hot at first and then dialed down to something more neutral at the end.

He wants to help her with other things as well, but sometimes those aspects of her life are out of his reach.

Such as right now. She's sat on her dorm bed with her laptop perched in her lap. Harry's sitting at her desk, facing her with his own (more expensive) laptop, typing away. He's got to finish up some emails before he can fully give his undivided attention to his girl.

However, he doesn't have to keep an eye on her to know she's upset. In fact, he's searched through his brain a couple times to figure out if it's his doing, but he's come to the conclusion that it's not. He's been nice to her today, and he even held her hand driving back from when they had lunch earlier at her favorite spot on campus. She seemed distracted then, however he never brought it up.

When she finally closes her laptop with a sigh, Harry looks up.

"What's the matter?" Harry asks. He's not really used to comforting her unless it involves sex, so he doesn't sound that sympathetic. He's well aware of that.

She shakes her head, and crawls over to the edge of the bed, closer to him. "Nothing, sir, I'm good. Whatcha doin'?"

"Work," he answers. "I'm almost done."

She nods, biting her lower lip. "Okay. Well when you're done, do you want to watch a movie in the lounge room? I rented a couple from YouTube for the weekend."

"Alright."

"I'll make popcorn." She gets up, adjusts her shorts and walks over to the closet where she has a storage box filled with snacks. Even her movements are slow and hesitant. "Actually, I have the regular butter popcorn, but I also have caramel popcorn. Which do you want?"

Harry opens his mouth to tell her the regular, but he stops himself. "Whichever one you want."

Mia nods and picks the caramel ones, bringing the container back to the bed. She sits in front of him again. "My roommate will be back Sunday night so you're welcome to stay the entire weekend."

He looks up from the emails he's nearly done typing. Her eyes are sad still, but eagerly watching him. "I've got a meeting in Albany on Tuesday anyways, so I can stay."

"Yeah. You can go back to your hotel Sunday night."

"Sounds good."

She smiles at him, looking down at her socked feet. Her phone makes a sound and she reaches for it on her pillow. The message there makes her eyes widen and a frown form on her face. Harry watches curiously, wondering what's been making her so upset. She types out a quick reply and locks it.
