I hopped down from the podium, smiling at Bertolt as he does the same. Shadis was talking about the different things we did good and different things we did a bit worse. The only real thing that he was able to criticize me about was not actually attacking to harm my friend. He was mad that I didn't break a nose or something. He then yelled at everyone to go ahead and get into their partnerships and spar with just normal hand to hand combat.

I turned away from Bertolt, already knowing that he was going to go to Reiner to go train with him. They had always been better friends than I could ever hope for with somebody else. They had been friends practically since birth, and it was sad that I wasn't the same with Annie. We had had another teammate that I had been closer with than the others, he had practically been my older brother, but he died before we could even attack Wall Maria. A titan had just easily picked the boy up and thrown him into its over-sized jaws, right in front of us. We were young then, we still are now. We were only around ten when we killed so many people...

My gaze swished around the area, wondering who I could go up against and fight. On some days, like once a month, Eren Jaeger and I would fight, he would normally win just because I let him so that I could critique him in his fighting. Well, actually that was the same with everyone unless I wanted to win or there was a crowd to watch. It was interesting how people loved to watch humans and humans fight in a rioting way and not watch humans and titans fight, they just saw it as like a horror film.

It was fair though. Titans had no feelings, or at least the ones who can't shift back into humans have none. Titans just killed and killed, without any real reason to do it. Why are we trying to tear down the walls? Titans didn't even have to technically kill anybody, or eat anybody. They could live forever and it didn't matter if they had nutrients or not, besides they just ended up throwing up their guts in huge clumps of human.

The beings that I imitated were disgusting and revolting creatures. They had no will of their own, they just ate and ate and ate. They had no mind, no idea of how the world works. They didn't have personalities, sentient programs, they were just an empty shell of mass murderers.

So I could understand why people could enjoy watching humans fight with humans more than watching titans fight with humans.

My gaze wandered the crowd again, searching for anybody that I might be able to pair up with and maybe, just maybe, let all of my anger and pain out on. Bertolt's defeat wasn't enough, I needed something more, someone, who I could let my complete anger out on without feeling bad afterward.

"(Y/n)! Train with me!" I looked towards the sound of my name being called. Of course, it had to be Marco. His black hair swayed in the wind as he ran toward me. His brown eyes shown out in what looked to be hope. There wasn't a hope that he would get my anger pushed off on him, not a single chance. I was angry because I couldn't be with him, so I couldn't reflect that anger onto him. Marco wasn't the problem here...

But, Annie was.

I turned away from Marco, my eyes searching for the blonde-haired female. "Annie! Fight me!!" I yelled out when I saw her. She was just standing around, ignoring everything and everyone around her. She normally skipped out on this training, she thought it was child's play to do this. She thought she didn't need it, but when it really came down to it, Mikasa was better at fighting than her.

Annie's cold blue eyes found my gaze as I ran towards her, full speed. I didn't care if she didn't want to fight me, she had to. I was going to force her to fight me.

"No."

"You don't get a say in this, Annie. Either you fight me or I attack you," I stated boldly. I knew she would probably win, but she was better than beating anyone else up, well maybe I would have preferred to attack Reiner, but I knew he was going to be training with Bertolt.
