Chapter Five

The day that I've been waiting for finally arrives. It's finally Halloween. I go to school dressed in my Little Red Riding Hood costume. Jade picks me up from home as usual. Jade looks so wonderful in  her Princess Jasmine costume. The past two days she has seemed better. She has returned to her normal cheery self, just the way I love her. She sings along to the radio and smiles, and laughs. She tells me about her dream that she had about her being in candy land and eating all sorts of candy. And I laugh when she tells me she woke up chewing on her pillow because she dreamt it was a marshmallow.

"I swear it was the most funniest thing I have ever done in my sleep." She laughs and parks her car.

"I bet." I agree with her. We meet up with Jesy and Liegh in class. Basically today is free period all day. The teachers know the students aren't going to pay much attention in class but we still have to come to school. The only reason we come is to basically show off our costumes. I mean why not? I look totally cute in my costume, with my little red cloak wrapped around me and and my white stocking with little red bows on them and my picnic basket.

Jesy looks mighty sexy in hers and Liegh looks like an actual queen of Egypt. For once Mrs. Gertrude doesn't scold me for something unreasonable, she's just sitting down at her desk eating some chocolate and reading a magazine. Everybody is consumed in their own conversations and Mrs. Gertrude occasionally shushes the people that get to loud.

"We should enter the Halloween costume contest at lunch time. Let's see which one of us wins." Leigh suggests.

"Sure why not?" Jesy beams.

"But we won't make it in time to get the good food in the cafeteria." I pout.

"Oh come on Perrie, it's just for a few minutes and plus I'm sure you can go one day without lunch." Jesy says. I let out a loud gasp. I can't believe she just said that.

"Do you know who your talking too?" I sass her.

"Yeah I'm talking to Perrie always damn fucking hungry Edwards." She rolls her eyes and laughs. I try not to smirk at the name she gave me.

"Clever. Very clever." I lightly tap her nose and she swats my hand away. The bell rings and we go on our merry way to our next class. Our maths teacher, being the evil man he is gave us a pop quiz. Who does that? A evil man that's who. I write my name and read over the instructions.

1) Write your name on the top right corner. Okay done.

2) Walk up to the front of the class and '"Say screw this exam." and crumble it up and throw it away.

3) Grab a candy from the bucket and go on your merry way.

4) Happy Halloween

Well then this teacher isn't so bad after all. So I do what it says. I go up to the front of the class and stand there for a moment. "Screw this exam." I say and crumble the paper up. Some of the other students look at me astonished and some of them have their mouths hanging wide open. I grab my candy and leave my class. I feel my phone vibrate and pull it out of my dress pocket.

Jesy Nelson Baba; Why would you do that? Your going to get into so much trouble!!!!

And supposedly she's the smart one. I shake my head and reply.

Me; read the instructions doofus :p I wait for her to reply back but she doesn't. I hear the door open and there she is. She comes out of the class laughing.

"Should of read the instructions first." She shakes her head. "I did like three maths problems." She laughs again.

"Doofus." I tell her and she smacks my head. "Ow you jerk." We walk down the hallway to see if we can glance into Leigh class. She has art class right now. We peer into the small window of the door and I spot her on the far corner talking to Claudimar. He's one of our friends and he occasionally hangs out with us but not all the time. I wave my arms to see if I can catch her attention but she doesn't look at the door.
