We all sat in complete darkness while the rain picked up again and the thunder boom loudly making the house shake a little. I was filled with horror as I tried to comprehend and try to come up with a reasonable explanation as to why the candles lit up by themselves and as to how the board went flying across the room.

My eyes begin to somewhat adjust to the darkness but I'm still not able to see everything clearly. I begin to see figures in the dark and I squeeze my eyes shut. I have this immense fear of the dark and my over active imagination likes to create things that aren't really there. I begin to squirm because I still have the urge to pee but I do not want to get up.

The girls and I are still huddled close to each other and Jade is still unconscious. "I'm going to try to find one of our phones." I hear Jesy say from the left side of me. I nod my head but then I realize she can't see me.

"O-okay." I barely say in a whisper. I can hear the floor creak as she takes slow steps. I'm guessing she doesn't want to trip over something.

"Did you find one yet?" Liegh asks.

"No. No wait I think I found one." The bright light from the phone shines directly on her face and she squints her eyes. She then flashes it towards us. "Is she okay?" She ask as she walks towards us. I look down at Jade who is just unconscious.

"Jade." I shake her lightly. "Jade can you please wake up." I beg. She groans slightly and I let out a sigh of relief. She's waking up.

"W-what is going on?" She groans and sits up. "Why are we in the dark and on the floor?" She looks so confused and I'm not really sure what to tell her.

"You passed out." Leigh tells her and Jade furrows her eyebrows together. Another clap of thunder booms and we all jump at the sound of it.

"What do you mean I passed out? How?" She stands up and just stares at us.

"We don't even know. The table started shaking and-"

"The table was shaking? Are like you guys trying to prank me?"

"No we swear Jade." Leigh tries to convince her but it's no use. Maybe our brains made it up or something but for all three of us to have the same hallucination, it isn't possible.

"Really because-" She's interrupted by some giggling. My heart stops at the sound and I can see Jade's eyes go wide. "What the hell was that?" She quickly runs over and sits with us.

"Everybody heard that right?" Leigh whimpers.

"Mhhmm." The three of us say.

"There's something very creepy going on here.' I say. We begin to hear footstep from the upper level and it sound more like if someone is running around.

"Perrie I thought you said the house was empty." Jesy whispers to me.

"It is." I gulp. Who could be up there? I never would of thought I was hoping for it to be some kind of burglar but I hope it is.

"Go check out what it is." Jesy pushes me forward.

"What? No why?" I am definitely not going up there especially not by myself.

"It's your house."

"Your the one that wanted to play that board game." I fire back.

"I don't think we should split up anyway." I hear Leigh say.

"She has a point." The footsteps continue followed by a loud crash. What is up there?

"Come on lets get some candles and light them up." We all stand up and start grabbing candles and we begin to light them up. Each of one has one and we slowly walk up the stairs. The fact that the floor creaks each time we take a step, makes this all the more creepier.
