We quickly run down the stairs and we head for the front door. I grab the knob but it won't turn. "It's stuck." I cry out. I keep trying to turn it but it won't budge.

"What do you mean it's stuck?" Jesy shouts out. "Just open it." She pushes me out of the way and I look back towards the stairs to fine the same little girl slowly walking towards. I glance down at her feet but there's nothing there. It's like she's just hovering across the floor.

I let out a scream and begin to pound on the door. The girls turn to look at what made me scream and they begin to do the same. "WHY WON'T THE DOOR OPEN!" Jade screams.

"Help somebody help." I begin to shout and the girls follow my actions. I'm hoping someone from outside can hear us. I turn to look back again but the girl is gone. "W-where d-did she go?" I ask. The hot wax from the candle drips onto my hand I accidentally drop the candle making it burn out in the process. "Ouch. You guys we have to get out of here." I whimper. My eyes begin to water because I am in such immense fear.

"How the door won't open and it's unlocked. It's like it's stuck." Jade sobs. We hear the giggling again and we all stay quiet. "I don't want to die." Jade softly whimpers.

"You guys are silly." We hear the voice travel through the house. "And stupid." The giggling starts up again and then stops.

"Did i-it just call us stupid?' Leigh asks.

"Yes." She appears right in front of us and we all yell and bolt running out into different directions. Jesy and I run into the kitchen while Jade and Leigh run into the living room. "Wait, I'm trying to help you." She appears in the middle of the room. I can barely make out her features but with the dim light of the candles, I can see what she looks like. She's wearing a white night gown, her blonde hair is cascading down her back. She looks like a sickly pale and almost translucent.

"W-what d-do you mean?" Jade asks from across the room. "Your the one keeping us trapped in this house." She says very hysterical.

"No no no. I'm trying to help."She looks between the four of us. "I'm not the one keeping you in." She says almost like she's scared herself.

"This is insane, we're talking to a freaking ghost." I blurt out. This must be a dream. There has to be a logical explanation as to why there's this so called ghost girl standing between the living room and the kitchen. "We must be dreaming." I continue to say.

"Sadly your aren't." She shakes her head. "You have to get out." She tells us.

"Then let us out." Jesy huffs.

"I wish but he's too strong. You have to find a way out of here and soon."

"Who is he." Leigh asks the little girl.

"I repeat this is insane, we must be dreaming. There is no way there is ghost in my house." I try pinching myself to see if I could wake myself up but it doesn't work and I  just mumble an ow.

"It is possible it's Halloween, when the veil between the human world and the afterlife is thinner than usual and not only that it's a full moon." The little girl looks annoyed and stares at me. Her skin is pale white and her cheek bones look almost hollow.

"What are you talking about? What veil?" Jade asks. The little girl lets out a deep breath and rolls her eyes.

"I'll explain everything then." She disappears and appears behind Jade and Leigh. They let out a scream and run towards us. "Would you stop doing that? Your screams are so loud and annoying." I swear she looks so irritated. "Now come and sit I have a story to tell." We all look at one another, not sure on what to do. "Anytime now." She says in annoyed tone.
