Chapter Eight

The pounding sounded louder and louder as the seconds ticked by. I held my pillow closely to me, like if my life depended on it. "I'm scared." I softly whimper. The pounding continues and the thunder booms from outside.

"W-wwhat is that n-noise?" I hear Jade say from next to me.

"See we shouldn't of played with  that stupid board." I bury my face into the pillow. I let out a shriek when I feel a hand grab my thigh.

"Sorry. Looking for my phone." Jade apologizes. I feel the the vibrations as she pats along the couch, trying to look for her phone. As she looks for her phone we hear the doorbell ring and the lights turn back on. I let out a sigh of relief and so do the rest of the girls. The doorbell rings again and I wonder who that might be. "Oh my god it's the delivery guy. He must of been pounding on the door." Jade lets out a giggle and face palms herself. She gets up from the couch and travels to the front door and swings it open. "Hi." I hear her say. I can hear her talking to the delivery guy and some giggling gong on. I cock my head to the side trying to hear what she's saying. "Perrie."

"Yeah?" I answer to Jade.

"Can you get me the money it's on the kitchen counter." I put the pillow down and walk into to the kitchen and grab the bills and walk back to where Jade is. She's talking to this guy with blondish hair but his roots are brown. He obviously dyes his har. "Here." I hand Jade over the money and I grab a hold of the two pizza boxes. "Hey um.." I notice the rain has settled down to only a drizzle and isn't raining as hard it was before.

"Niall." He beams. Awfully cheerful guys isn't he.

"Yeah um next time don't bang on the door so hard." I tell him. He knits his eyebrows together and gives me a confused look.

"I didn't bang on the door. I just got here and I rang the doorbell." I turn to look at Jade and she has the same facial expression as me. If he wasn't banging on the door then where was that noise coming from?

"Oh." I breathe out. "Uh keep the change." I tell him and close the door before he can say anything else.

"I was about to get his number." Jade pouts.

"God keep it on your pants." I tease her. I set down the pizza boxes on the coffee table meanwhile Jade grabs some plates and cups.

After a few slices of pizza and halfway through the woman in black I fall asleep.

I slowly feel myself waking up due to the fact I have this odd sensation that someone is staring at me. I didn't notice I had a blanket draped over until I tugged it off. The lights are shut off but the telly is on creating some light in the room. Leigh and Jesy are snoozing away and I turn to face away from the couch and I let out a gasp.

Jade is standing right in front of us but she isn't moving or talking. She's just standing there. I don't remove my gaze from her but I reach over to pat Jesy's arm to jolt her awake. She slightly stirs but she doesn't actually wake up. "Jade." I call at to her. "Jade are you okay?" And again she doesn't move or speak. I try to wake up Jesy again and this time thankfully she does wake up.

"What is going on? W-what is Jade doing?" She questions. Jesy's voice causes for Leigh to stir awake and she sits up from the couch.

"Im not sure she just standing ther. i uh tried talking to her but she doesn't respond." I'm not sure why shes just standing there its really creepy. Suddenly her hand rises up and points to the coffee table. She puts her arm down and she begins to walk over to the table and kneels down before it.

In one swift moment she moves her arms making everything topple to the floor. "I think she wants to keep playing with the board." Leigh breaks the silence.
