You are Tony Stark's sister. You never thought you'd have to spend much time with the man who killed your parents until you're forced to go on a mission with him, despite not even being an Avenger. What will happen when you...
You hop out of the shower and are so relieved that you can get all of the sweat off of you from your workout with Bucky. You're currently staying in the spare bedroom of the Avenger's facility while you prepare for the mission. It has its own on-suite, walk-in wardrobe and huge bed and television on the wall. Although you are missing your home that you and Tony live in, the whole team is making you feel really comfortable with the change. While you're drying your hair, you hear a knock on your bedroom door.
"What's up?" You shout through the closed bathroom door so that the person outside of your room can hear you.
"We have a mission briefing in about twenty minutes. We'll be in the meeting room." You hear Tony's voice yell back and you roll your eyes. Great timing. All you wanted to do after your workout was to stay in bed and watch Netflix. I guess 'Lucifer' will just have to wait. You get changed and finish drying your hair before walking out of the room and down the hallway to meet the others in the meeting room.

When you get to the room, you walk in and see Steve standing in front of the room. He gives you a hug as you walk in and you hug him back before taking a seat in one of the chairs around the table. Across from you are Bruce, Clint and Tony so obviously we still need Bucky.
"Where is he? What's taking him so long?" Steve asks you brother and he shrugs, too focused on his tablet to really pay attention to anything else. "At least (Y/N)'s here on time." He says and smiles at you.
"I'm here, I'm here! Sorry, I'm late." Bucky announces as he bursts into the room, hurriedly trying to find a seat while Steve rolls his eyes and sighs at how annoying he can be sometimes, which you definitely understand.
He takes one look at you and gets the clear message you have spread across your face saying 'don't you dare sit next to me'. He may be helping you train, and you may be forced to go on a mission with him, but that doesn't mean you have to like it or pretend to like Bucky. I mean, this was the man that killed both of your parents in cold-blooded murder, and still hadn't apologised to you personally. Was it because he was terrified of you? Oh, absolutely, 100 per cent. But that was no excuse for you. You were too young at the time to understand it so you still don't really understand it now.
After they passed away, it was hard to go back to being yourself. You didn't really have a solid parental figure to raise you so you drifted a bit from being a typical teenager. It made you grow up faster than you ever expected you would have to. At 17, you had started dating a boy who was much older than you, not that you cared. He wasn't very nice to you, in fact, he was kind of the worst. But that's a story for another time.
"(Y/N/N)? (Y/N)?" You hear someone's voice calling your name and you shake yourself out of your thoughts and back into reality. "You okay?" Bruce asks you as you look over to him.
"Oh...yeah. Sorry, I'm okay. What did you say?" You reply and you honestly can't ignore the worried looks on all of their faces.
"We asked if you were okay staying in the same bed as Bucky. You'll be staying here, so obviously, there's not a lot of room." Steve answers, pointing to something on the holographic screen behind him, showing you where you'll be staying for the few weeks that the mission lasts. You widen your eyes when you see what you'll be staying in. It's a lot different than you thought it would be.

"It's been out there for years. Pretty much since S.H.I.E.L.D was founded. We've used it for past missions since it's so close to the Hydra base but only with one person. It's not really big enough for two people." Tony continues, sounding a bit sour at the fact that you and Bucky will be alone in a hut in the woods by yourself, sharing a bed. You calm his nerves about something happening between you two by laughing and scoffing.
"I'll sleep on the fucking floor before I share a bed with Barnes." You mumble and Clint tries to hold back a giggle. Steve is about to speak up before Bucky interrupts him.
"It's fine, I'll sleep on the floor." He says, looking towards Steve who just simply nods, accepting the fact that you really don't want to do this mission anyway so they're going to have to obey your conditions and demands.
"Thanks." You mumble, letting him know you appreciate it but you still hate this whole thing. The only reason you're doing it is because the team is like your family and you love them, well most of them, and they need you for this mission. They don't have any other choice and I guess neither do you.
I just wish that I could tell you that this ends well for you.
