You are Tony Stark's sister. You never thought you'd have to spend much time with the man who killed your parents until you're forced to go on a mission with him, despite not even being an Avenger. What will happen when you...
"Your ex?" Bucky asks and you nod slowly, keeping your eyes on Chase. You don't notice the slight hint of jealousy in his voice and on his face.
"What are you doing out here?" You disregard Bucky for a second to talk to Chase.
You were confused, to say the least. You knew he loved camping and hiking, so it was very plausible that he was just out here doing that. Yeah, that's probably what he was doing. It was dumb to think otherwise.
"Camping. I come here every year, it's beautiful at this time." Chase replies as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Oh...well, anyway, (Y/N) and I should get back. Was nice meeting you...uh..."
"Chase." Chase finishes for him and Bucky nods in realisation.
"Right, Chase." Bucky replies back sourly and you furrow your eyebrows.
"C'mon, Buck." You mumble to him just out of earshot of Chase and Bucky nods and looks down to you.
"Yeah, okay," Bucky replies and waves goodbye to Chase who walks off into the woods again, probably heading towards the campsite a few minutes away. "You okay, doll?"
"I-I don't know. Our relationship didn't end well, it was actually really toxic and I guess I just get a weird feeling seeing him again." You admit to him as you walk back into the hut.
"Wow, sorry, doll. I didn't know it was that bad." He says sympathetically and you nod, secretly loving how normal it is for him to call you 'doll' now. "But next time, maybe don't come out with a gun pointed at him." He chuckles.
"Sounds good." You laugh as you both walk back into the hut.
"I should let the team know that we're okay, be right back." He tells you, walking off to get the satellite phone after putting his weapons away again.
You wander around the room, trying not to think of what happened during your relationship with Chase. For some reason, your mind instantly drifts off to Bucky. More specifically, Bucky shirtless. You absentmindedly bite your lip into your smile as you walk to your bag full of clothes, realising that you still haven't gotten dressed for the day. You were still wearing a grey jumper and black sweat pants.
You pick out an outfit and take your clothes to the bathroom once you hear that Bucky is outside, seemingly still talking to the team.
You have a quick wash in the run-down, camp-like shower in the small bathroom before getting dressed and brushing your hair and teeth. You straighten out your outfit and approve of yourself before leaving the bathroom again.

You opted for shorts today, which was something you didn't usually do, but since it was hotter than usual, you thought it was one of those days where you'd just melt in jeans or pants.
