Sooyeon gulped, feeling major déjà vu as she stepped out of her taxi. She adjusted Jinyoung's cap on her head, which she now wore religiously, along with her black mask. She looked up at the tall and intimidating building in front of her; the cake she had made last night was held tightly in her hands.

It had been a week since Jaebeom added her to the group chat. Although the members were extremely inviting online, she still had yet to meet a few of them and thus felt nervous having any kind of interactions with them. Out of all of them she became the closest to Jaebeom, Jinyoung, and Yugyeom; occasionally Jackson would message her about her stories with a million emojis. Sooyeon had given a huge scolding to Jaebeom for how careless he was being with the member's Kakao IDs, but the rest of them laughed it off in the group chat and seemed fine with the whole situation.

Bammie: can't wait to meet you Sooyeon noona!

Sooyeon stared at this message for a long time, unable to move.

"AHHH!" A voice screamed and she felt a hard impact on her shoulders, making her jump in fear. She turned around, spreading her legs slightly and raising her single fist that wasn't holding the cake, ready to fight whoever was standing behind her.

"Woah woah are you going to punch me?" Jinyoung said, smiling behind his mask. He laughed, looking down at her stance. "What are you doing though?"

Sooyeon held her chest and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. "Jinyoung, I swear to God you're the reason my heart is gonna stop one day." She said it as though Jinyoung didn't already make her heart stop every time he did something cute. Getting close to him became more and more dangerous by the day, but she couldn't help it.

"I'll just have to revive you with CPR or something. I'm trained you know," pride was evident in his voice. He took the cake from her grasp and held it for her.

Sooyeon rolled her eyes, but on the inside her heart fluttered at his joke about giving her mouth to mouth. She tried to brush it off. "Oh!" She pointed at his hat. "You bought another one?" Jinyoung was wearing the same hat as her.

He tried to shrug casually. "After seeing you wear it so much I rekindled my liking for it," he changed the subject by gesturing towards the door. "So how long are we going to stay outside?"

"Ah right," Jinyoung's appearance made Sooyeon temporarily forget where she was and how nervous she was. She straightened out her top and jeans and looked at Jinyoung. "Do I look okay?"

Jinyoung paused, putting his finger on his lips to pretend to be deep in thought. "I mean you're kinda under dressed, but it's okay I guess," he watched the color drain from Sooyeon's face and laughed. "You look fine Sooyeon." He ruffled her the top of her head.

Jinyoung dialled Jaebeom's number on his phone. "Hyung we're here."

"Who's we?" Sooyeon heard Jaebeom's muffled voice through the speaker.

Jinyoung looked at Sooyeon. "Singer Kim Sooyeon is here," he lightly teased before hanging up.

Sooyeon blushed and smacked Jinyoung's arm. "Please stop before I shove you."

"Alright alright," he laughed, putting his hands up in surrender. They heard an audible click at the front door and both of them headed to the seventh floor.

Sooyeon and Jinyoung rang the doorbell to 701. "Coming!" A muffled voice shouted.

The door opened and Mark peered through the crack with the biggest smile on his face. "Jinyoungie is here!" He laughed. Mark looked at Sooyeon and stuck out his hand. "Hi Sooyeon-ah, I'm Mark." He already addressed her informally, like he had been doing in the group chat.
