It had been a while since we did our movie night. The last time we had all been together to do it was well before summer, so it was nice to be able to pick it back up.
"Dana wants to know what you want for drinks," Logan said as we sat together on the couch, looking down at his phone.
"She doesn't need to get me anything," I answered.
He waved me off. "Don't worry about it, I'm paying her back half."
"I'll just stick with what you have here," I told him.
"Whatever, man," Logan replied. "Archie's with her anyway. He'll probably get something you like."
A moment later, Isaac walked into the room with his backpack slung over his shoulder. He tossed it down on the floor before taking a seat on the recliner.
"Do we know what we're watching?" Isaac asked.
Logan shrugged. "Dana and Hadley are picking."
"So it's either going to be something terrifying or super romantic?"
"Pretty much."
Dana and Hadley had an odd taste in movies, but we always knew when they picked it would end up being something interesting.
"We have arrived," Archie announced as he walked into the house ahead of Dana and Hadley, all of them carrying grocery bags.
Archie tossed me a box of Sour Patch Kids and placed a bottle of orange soda in my lap before sitting on the love-seat, followed by Hadley.
"Let's start this thing!" Archie exclaimed, settling into his seat.
"Wait for me, I'm going to grab a blanket," Dana said, scurrying toward the stairs, presumably to get a blanket from Logan's room.
"Dude, Isaac, that hot girl from chemistry class works at the grocery store," Archie said with a smirk on his face.
"Tori?" he asked.
"Is that her name?"
Hadley smacked his arm while Logan and I shared a look, rolling our eyes.
Isaac scoffed. "Yeah, that's her name and you would know that if you talked to her instead of just staring at her tits."
"What's the fun in that?" Archie joked, looking to Hadley as if trying to get a reaction out of her.
"Arch," Hadley whined, scowling at him. "Stop talking about girls like that, seriously."
He put up his hands in mock surrender as Dana came down the steps with a blanket wrapped around her shoulders.
Just as Dana was about to start the movie, Vinny came bounding down the stairs, causing all of us to turn our attention toward him.
"Hey," Dana called out, gaining his attention.
"Hm?" Vinny hummed, looking bored.
"Come watch a movie with us," she said in a friendly, yet commanding tone.
"Dana–" Logan started, but she put her hand up to stop him.
Vinny looked slightly amused at Logan and shook his head.
"No thanks," Vinny said, turning around to walk into the kitchen.
Dana looked to her boyfriend with a mean glare.
"What?" Logan asked her.
"You made him uncomfortable!" Dana snapped, her eyes narrowed as she stood up from the couch.
