Sohye mumbled into the rough kiss wanting to pull away. Her hands and wrists were spazzing about as Taehyung held them down securely. Her legs were trying to thrash about and kick him off but his weight held her down forcing her to stay still and endure the kiss. Tears leaked from the ends of her eyes dripping quickly across the sides of her face and absorbing into the plain duvets. Taehyung finally pulled away, his eyes slanted whilst staring at her moist eyes.
"Why are your eyes always filled with such horror and hatred whenever you look at me?" He asks. Sohyes lips trembled as her body stopped writhing underneath him.
"Why can't you just treat me, look at me, talk to me the same way you talk to him," His voice wavered and Sohyes eyes widened as she saw a glistening tear trickle down his left eye. She saw something she never thought was possible; Taehyung showing emotions; Taehyung crying. One after another his tears kept falling dripping down his face in the smoothest most beautiful way a tear could fall. Seeing this Sohye was so shocked her own tears had stopped as she now just lay underneath him admiring the tears she never thought existed.
Taehyung finally got off her moving to the edge of the bed and resting his head in his hands. Sohye squinted through the black darkness of his room, staring at only the silhouette of his hunched posture. She sat up carefully balling up the white duvets as she pulled herself up. Her hands went up wiping away the salty stains on her face. Her eyes softened and her heart melted hearing sniffs and hiccups coming from the end of the bed. The one man she thought was psychopathic and emotionless was crying now, in front of her. Her hand reached out unknowingly wanting to comfort him, wanting to pick him up and rock him to calm him down, to stop the water streaming down his flawless face. But she hesitated. She pulled her hand back and looked down unwilling to look at him, afraid she'd give in to him if she do. She didn't dare leave either as her conscience wouldn't let her and Taehyung probably wouldn't either. After what felt like ages of listening to him cry and sniffle, he finally calmed down. Sohye was beginning to get sleepy now but held herself up nonetheless burying the signs of her tiredness with wide eyes and a stiff posture. Taehyung turned around facing her and it was only then that Sohye finally properly saw him. The faint white light from outside his window casting on his features were enough for her to clearly see him. Her mouth opened slightly staring at his blood-shot eyes and his tear stained cheeks. It was only now that she was staring at Taehyung and not some monster whom she thought she knew. Her eyes scanned his bold features from his perfectly shaped eyebrows to his cutely formed lips. She carefully inspected the say his swollen eyes seemed to soften and his lips redden after crying. The stains on his cheeks glistened under the light making him seem all too perfect even after bawling his eyes out. He didn't just let her stare at her for free of course. While she was mesmerised by his looks he too took the chance to carefully look at her again. At the way her lips were perfectly curved and pink. He took into consideration how soft they were against his. The way his heart beamed when he saw her fearful eyes soften whilst staring at him.
"You're quite... beautiful, you know that?" He says his voice croaky. Sohyes eyes widened flustered and amused. Shocked then embarrassed. She wanted to laugh, wanted to slap herself, scream at herself to tell herself that its all just some stupid dream, that Taehyung isn't like this; he's not the type to show or to have emotions. But she couldn't. She couldn't do anything. And her mind raced as he crawled towards her once again. The light illuminating even more of his celestial beauty. He moved closer and closer and in response Sohye kept leaning back and back trying to keep some distance between them until her head fell on the mattress and his body was pressed up against hers once again. He didn't harshly pull her wrists down and force himself absent-mindly on her this time. And Sohye didn't feel somewhat threatened either. He leaned down on her softly and slowly, taking the time to stare at her and take in her delicate features before closing his eyes as their lips finally made contact. Sohye knew she should've pulled away when she could, should've pushed him back and left but she felt captivated by his eyes and dreamy look that it was hard to even blink. When his lips finally landed on hers, her eyelids fell immediately. The kiss was soft and gentle, completely polar opposites from the last one as they slowly enjoyed the kiss which was never to have been shared in the first place.
Taehyungs hands went up and interlocked with both of Sohyes hands. His long fingers intertwined between hers pulling her closer to him and holding tight. Sohye felt so immersed and fascinated by the soft plumpness that when he pulled away, she found herself wanting to reach out for more. A whine left her lips as he pulled away and hovered above her. Her cheeks flushed realising the strange noise and the desperation she felt. Taehyung chuckled, his box smile coming on full display and his eyes curving up.
The way he looked at her was so full with care and love Sohye felt as if she could feel that warmth. They held strong eye contact for what felt like ages. For the first time Sohye actually properly felt loved and accepted. She felt care-free and the warmth of what it feels like to be loved by someone. Slowly her eyes began to tear up but before they could fall Taehyungs hand was on her cheek; ready to wipe it away if it dared to fall down.
"Don't cry, please, stop crying." He whispered his voice so deep and gentle. Sohye licked her lips unable to form words to say to him."Can you stay here tonight? Even if it's just for tonight, could you please stay? Please stay with me." He whispered his voice cracking in between as if he was going to break down into a emotionful mess if she rejected the offer. Sohye took her bottom lip between her teeth considering the choices. Then it struck her. The strangeness of it all. The way he was acting, how kind and abnormally sweet he was behaving. How she had just kissed the man she hates most, TWICE. How all of this was probably the calm before the storm, how she's gotten herself in the biggest unsolvable knot in the world. It was too late to turn back. She was already at the gates of hell. If she acted carefully she'd might just survive, but one wrong step, action, word, breath and she'd be done for. She pondered over whether the best option was to do as he wishes or leave and be at the safety of her own home.
"I-" Before she could say anything further he'd already rolled over to the side. He wrapped his hand around her body pulling her into him as he pulled up the blanket. He nuzzled his head into the crook of her neck, his breath tickling her slightly.
"Sorry, I'm tired. I'm going to sleep first. Just stay with me please." He murmurs before drifting off into his wonderland.Sohye was awkwardly stiff in-between his arms . She felt very unrelaxed as his breath kept brushing against her neck.
"Well, there's no turning back now, is there?" She asked herself staring at the white ceiling. She sighed before giving in and turning around making herself comfortable in his gentle strong hold. She turned around facing him staring at his exquisite face features before closing her eyes and nuzzling down. Her ear against his chest, listening to the only thing that was probably human about him; his heart.
