FINAL CHAP

Two weeks past after multiple investigations and court meetings, Taehyung wasn't charged with any crime and was released immediately after the case was closed.

He held Sohyes funeral by himself. He didn't even want the others boys to join him as he had a feeling that she wouldn't have wanted that either.

After a month he went back to school regularly, and contributed in normal school activities. He stopped bullying people, stopped creating trouble and completely changed himself into a better person. Into someone that was more acceptable, someone that was more healthy for him, and someone that Sohye would've wanted. Someone that she wanted for a long time but someone he couldn't give to her when she was still alive. He thought he understood her then, but now reality hit him that he didn't understand anyone; not even himself.

Following her last wishes he attempted to understand himself and his surroundings more as he strived to live a better life.

Taehyung went around all smiles and peace now, trying to keep his mischievousness and psychotic behavior to a minimum. He went to counselling sessions to help his mentality and began picking up hobbies and behaving like a normal teenager, not some sadistic maniac.

But no matter how happy he was, no matter how many smiles he displayed and how normal his life seemed, he was never able to forget her. She was always with him, as if stuck to his back, haunting him almost. But he didn't mind, the company of her soul close by gave him the motivation to keep growing and become a better person. He thoroughly felt and related to the meaning of the word Charmolypi-meaning the mixture of happiness and sadness in one.
He went home every night to see her on his sofa, smiling softly at him telling him that he did well today. Her dress splayed out like a white never ending silk curtain across his sofa.
He'd wake up in the morning to her lying soundly beside him on his bed, the golden sun warm and gentle against her milky skin, her long eyelashes soft against her cheeks.
But every time he so as much thought about touching her, she began to vanish away; disappearing slowly like star dust before him.

Slowly but surely over time he began to see her less, began to think about her less and began to genuinely smile and enjoy those times which he didn't once before.  He began to feel lighter, less weighed down by her death. And then soon enough, by the time he graduated from high school, she was a long memory that remained beautiful in his mind, not some haunted depressed figure in which he caused. Although it sounds like he forgot about her, he never did. He still visited her every weekend, bought her fresh flowers and sat next to her grave, talking to her under the shallow cover of a small purple wisteria tree and laughing about how his day or week had been. He stopped counselling as he applied and got accepted into an average college. There are still some times when he will see her back in his apartment again, only at times where he's feeling real down and exhausted, he'd see her smiling at him from the sofa, motioning for him to go over and talk to her.

He had scarred her and in return she left a scar on him. A gorgeous scar that remains delicate and exceptional in his memory. A scar that bloomed with absolute beauty; encased and tattooed into his mind.

Kim Taehyung had always loved scars. He'd scarred her many times, but unfortunately for him, they were never physical scars. Always verbal ones that affected her mentality. He was glad she'd scarred him in return. Glad she left her mark behind in his memory so he'd always be reminded of her.

There were times he'd be walking around the university compass and see her; someone with dark, smooth hair cascading elegantly down her back. He'd walk pass to catch a glimpse of her only to be disappointed when the girl he saw had the wrong lips, or the wrong eye shape. Disappointed when he saw that it wasn't Sohye, disappointed when he realized it'll never be Sohye, because she'd already gone.

She'd already left three years ago.

She won't be coming back.
