"I'll hurt you and torture you in her place. Would you like that Prince Charming? Knight in Shining Armor?"
Jimin stayed silent glaring at Taehyung as he raised another hand towards the male. I look at the other boys pleading them through my eyes to do something, but they all just shut their eyes tight anticipating the harsh blow Taehyung was going to throw. I felt horrible that someone else, completely innocent, someone who helped me, was taking this abuse in my by place. My tummy swayed as I contemplated on whether I should at least try at stop him."Taehyung!" I yell out just as his hand was about to make contact with Jimins face. He turned towards me, eyes like pistols shooting towards my petite and weak figure.
He tsked letting go of Jimin and walking towards me. I shifted in my spot as my eyes darted back and caught onto Jimin. His pupils revealed nothing but regret and worry as he shook his head. I shift my gaze towards Taehyung as a gasp left my lips when his hand grabbed a tight hold on my face. His breath hit my cheeks in an eerie way as he spoke.
"What is it with you two? Hm? First you have his things, then he jumps in and tries to save you like some fucking super hero that he thinks he is and now you are standing up to me, going against me, fighting me. And all for what? huh? For what? FOR THAT STUPID PARK JIMIN?!" He yelled as his grasp on my cheeks get tighter. My legs feel weak and my knees are shaking as I whimpered under the pressure of his hands. My eyelids suddenly feel heavy as I stared up at him with tears in my eyes.
"Taehyung, that's enough. Stop it already." One of the boys sigh. Nonetheless Taehyung ignores him and continues to stare at me, hands tightening around my cheeks, eyes peering into mine desperately searching for something he most likely won't find.
"Jungkook, go pull him back." The male spoke again and before I knew it Taehyungs strong grasp was off me. I looked up and saw Taehyung struggling against Jungkook. Jimin stared at me but refused to walk near as he immediately looked away upon making eye contact.
"Let go of me you fucktard!" Taehyung groaned, fighting against Jungkooks steady hold.
"Taehyung, come on that's enough. Stop already." That same male spoke again. My gaze shifted to his name tag; 'Kim Namjoon'.
Ultimately Taehyung stopped struggling as he calmed down and looked towards the floor. I stare in fear as I watched him. Sirens were going off in my head as Jungkook finally let him go. I knew how fast he could change. How his personality flickers from being nice to deadly. How fake he is. How good at acting he was. I knew it all. But I couldn't move. My feet were super glued to the ground as I watched him. Taehyung looked around and sighed before his eyes flickered towards me. I was frozen like a statue as he held eye contact with me. He strode towards me carefully, eyes gentle with sorrow.
"Sohye~" He cooed seeing as I didn't shift once whilst he walked towards me. I blink and shake my head, looking at the ground. I felt light headed as if I'd just broken out of a spell and my body felt like it wasn't mine. Taehyung smirked seeing me finally glance up at him properly. His soft chuckles sent tingles down my spine as he tilted his head to the side slightly, staring down at me. Once again his gaze shifted towards my neck and his lips curved upwards slightly. He glanced back at the boys briefly before grabbing onto my wrists tightly. He held my wrist securely in his hand as he dragged me behind him pulling me out of the school. I gasp as I felt the harsh tug and the force that caused my legs to start running. The boys yelled towards him and ran after him trying to tag along but Taehyung was fast as his legs moved quickly. He turned corners and streets continuously trying to lose the 6 boys tailing behind. Ultimately he stopped pulling me behind a dark navy blue corner. He peered around the corner before turning back and leaning against the wall. A deep sigh left his lips as he shut his eyes. I stare at him in awe as I saw what I think was a rare smile make its way onto his face. But I quickly snap my attention to the ground as he faced me again. He looked down at me before looking towards his hand holding on tightly to my wrist. I look up and follow his gaze. My fists bawled as I tried to force my wrist out of his grip but he resisted, groping tighter.
"Don't." He breathed out. That one word was enough to stop me from doing anything at that moment. He looked up towards my face and stared at me for what seemed like hours. Until another smile cracked through his straight face, making him look more lively and much much less scary. I felt my cheeks heat up as my heart pounded insanely against my ribcage. Taehyungs hand suddenly dropped down. He intertwined his long fingers with mine tightly as he bought my hand up to his face. My eyes opened wide in utter shock as he placed a gently peck on the top of my hand. He looked up and stared at me through his bangs before putting out hands back down.
Taehyung finally stepped out onto the streets under the gleaming sun. He began walking; still hold my hand tightly. After a while I idiotically thought he'd let go, instead he continued to keep his fingers interlaced with mine. His thumb began to rub circles on the top of my hand as he pulled me so we walked side by side.
"We're gonna have fun today. Just me and you. We're gonna have fun, ok Sohye?" He said stopping in the middle of the streets under the bright sunlight. I stared up fascinated by his gleaming aura and glowing presence. The sun seemed to love him a lot as it kissed ever inch of him making him look like an angel that ascended down from heaven.
"Sohye, answer me." He growled his grip on my hands tightening slightly causing me to snap out of my dreamy trance.
I nodded unable to form proper words as he nodded smirking slightly.
"Lets go. I know a good place." He says excitingly dragging me behind him. His footsteps were light and overflowing with eagerness as he skipped across streets and through the busy city.I was met with a new Taehyung. This person wasn't the Taehyung I was used to. This person was more cheerful, more kind, careful and sweet. This person was the complete opposite of the Taehyung I'd met during middle school, the complete opposite of the Taehyung that would cause me to be so afraid that it became mentally and physically unhealthy. Taehyung would usually make me feel horrible, lonely, depressed and wishing that I never existed. His goal was to have me feel like complete shit, like I was a worthless piece of trash, like I was a pest in societies eyes; an annoying irritation that people want to get rid of. He would cause me to cry myself to sleep every night wishing that the verbal and physical pain that he'd caused was all a dream or that I'd somehow die in my sleep so I wouldn't have to wake up and face the undying nightmare of tomorrow. No, this Taehyung was different. This Taehyung had a personality seemingly as perfect as his looks. This Taehyung made me feel safe, made me feel like I could trust him. He felt like my guardian angel that would rescue me at any crucial moment. Like someone that would open their arms out and happily engulf me in a large marshmallow hug anytime.
I was shaken out of my deep thoughts as Taehyung halted to a stop. He pulled me to stand beside him as he stared up in amazement. A clear permanent smile formed on his face, lighting his glowing features. He smiled brightly, his box smile coming out once again as he continued to stare at the buildings in front. Unknowingly, a sneaking grin decided to appear on my face also as I admired his handsome features and cute smile. Fortunately I caught myself; mentally slapping myself in the face for admiring the one person I hated most. My attention turned towards the thing he was staring at and soon enough I was left gaping in amazement.
"W-Why are we h-here?" I ask carefully turning towards him. He detached his eyes from the amusement park entrance and turned towards me.
"Didn't I say we're going to have fun today?" He chuckled pinching my nose.
"B-But this is Lotte World," I say looking around anxiously as people walked pass excitingly, lining up to pay for their tickets.
"And? It's fun!" Taehyung exclaims, eyes trying to grab my attention. My pupils darted endlessly from one person to the next as my palms began to get sweaty.
"Hey, whats wrong?" Taehyung asked leaning down slightly so we were face to face. I turned my head to face him and out noses touched. I flinched back looking down as a red flood came gushing onto my cheeks.
"We can't. Well, I mean, I can't. I-I don't have any money." I say quietly looking down and playing with my feet. Taehyung laughs standing up straight. He squeezed my hand slightly causing me to look up at him. A soft assuring smile was rested calmly on his face.
"Don't worry, I wouldn't invite a girl with me if I was going to let her pay for herself." He says smiling at me brightly.
Something in the pit of my stomach made me feel guilty and my reflexes wanted to jump out and reject his offer. But just as my mouth opened to speak some overly excited hyperactive human bumped into me harshly. I yelped as I got forced forward; falling straight into Taehyungs arms.
"Hey! Be careful and watch where you're going!" Taehyung yelled at them. The person, who sounded like a young male, immediately apologized feeling genuinely sorry for the inconvenience. Taehyung tsked dismissing the young lad and he quickly rushed away towards the reception desk. Taehyung held me securely, his grip was strong as he pushed me up, helping me regain my balance.
"Are you ok?" He asked, his voice wavering with concern as he inspected me from head to toe. I quickly removed my hands off him, looking down and feeling embarrassed.
"I-I'm fine. Thanks." I say looking anywhere apart from his eyes. He breathed out relieved as he stood up straight and stared at my directly.
"My hands feel empty." He says before forcing his hands back onto mine and intertwining our fingers.
"Now that we're all ready. LETS GO!" He yelled charging towards the reception desk.
