In For a Bumpy Ride

It was two days later when Ye Hua was able to finally make it back to the Peach Tree Grove only rather than seek out the girl for another round which was his intention, he instead found himself facing Zhe Yan who had immediately felt the boys raging hormones the moment he arrived.

"High God Zhe Yan...." Ye Huas surprised tone met the amused grin which couldn't help but widen at the deflated look that quickly followed.

"Ahhh, so my young dragon has come back for more...." he smirked even wider at the pair of eyes that were growing wider by the second and to Zhe Yans keen eyes, he even saw that body squirm beneath the long black robes.

"Excuse me?" he asked even more surprised.  He already understood that this High God was a little more liberal than most, but still, his forwardness was highly unnerving not to mention embarrassing.

Taking at deep breath, Zhe Yans eyes closed while his head slowly went back as his lungs were filled with the early morning fragrance which never failed to leave him feeling happy and merry, only the scent of a dragon on heat, had his eyes snapping back open to stare at the boy who he had not really paid much attention to in the past.  But after the way the little kit had all but staggered back to the hutt before falling into a crumpled heap from his last visit, he thought it best to talk to him, though more to ascertain what his intentions were now that he'd had a little taste of what his Grove had to offer.

"My Grove.  It is beautiful is it not.  No one that visits can stay away for long without coming back for more." he remarked casually before waving his hand towards the hut which was an invitation to follow, only the way the boys eyes began to dart about clearing as if searching for someone, soon had Zhe Yan taking his arm and forcing him to walk back with him.

Feeling a little foolish for having assumed he had meant something else entirely, he nodded his head in agreement, because the Groves peacefulness was what brought him back time and time again.  But with no choice but to follow, his shoulders slumped even more as his feet took him forward, though his eyes did continue to dart about the trees in the hope that Bai Qian would show herself again while this very talkative Phoenix continued to chatter on as if they had been best friends forever.

"You know Crown Prince Ye Hua, this Grove has many features that present themselves so unexpectedly that its little wonder my visitors come back.  Some of those features are far more beautiful than others and some can leave you feeling so overwhelmed that the urge to... 'come again' ...  can bring a .... 'lump' .... to your throat.  Don't you think? ." he quipped merrily at his own wittiness, though if Ye Hua noticed, there was no reaction and nor did he reply.

Not that he expected one, the boy is far too stiff! he thought to himself with a loud chortle which did have him finally turning to look at this man who to his young mind seemed far more chirpier than previous visits, and after what he had literally arranged for the young couple, Ye Hua began to realize that this was no mere chance meeting, but one the Phoenix had been preparing for.

The thinnly veiled puns were not lost on him either, though he had a strong suspicion that they might have gone straight over the head of that girl, and for the first time since his arrival, a smile finally broke.  She really was a funny girl, but terribly innocent, that he suddenly began to worry about what this High God might actually be up to.

"My Godchild stays here on a regular basis, but seeing as her brother has taken her back with him for the day, why not come in and keep this old man company, its been a very long time since I've had a youthful visitor that isn't out there causing mischief." Zhe Yan continued to natter on while Ye Hua shoulders slumped even more seeing as it wasn't looking likely that he would see her again that day.
