For the past two days, Ye Hua threw everything into just making her smile.  It was the only reward he sought for his hard work cooking delicious meals for her insatiable tummy seemed to be the key to keeping it on her face rather than the hugs and gentle kisses he himself wanted.  Though the thought of taking their tender moments further was unfortunately exacerbated by the spell.  The orgasm was literally using a lot of energy just to keep his body in control and he knew that if he did take their kisses further, he might actually die from severe exhaution.

And he was exhausteed, in order to maintain some semblance of normality, his energy was slowly being filtered towards his nether region to keep the orgasm at a manageable level, only being in the Mortal Realm meant he was not cultivating anything to maintain his energy.   But with a smiling wife to be the only thing on his mind, he quickly ladled a few vegetables into her bowl.

"Qian Qian, your appetite is larger than some men, yet you gain no weight." he smiled at her.

"mm, my family have always been hearty eaters, but we are small people regardless, its in the genes." she replied giggling at him seeing as he ate far less and was much bigger than even Bai Yi who she thought was a giant.

"Well it is good that your appetite is healthy, our baby needs the extra nourishment." he replied and topping up her bowl.

"Well .... uh.... about that....." she suddenly began to stammer and instantly drawing his attention to the soft blush that was spreading across her cheeks.

"What is it?  Do you need assistance?  Is something wrong with the baby?" he asked becoming concerned, seeing as her head had lowered and her energy had become unsettled.

"No..... I mean ... its just that...." she continued to stammer as her head lowered even more.  Ye Hua had been so nice to her all the day, had gone out of his way to make her comfortable even though he knew she wasn't truly relaxed in his company just yet so his efforts had her feeling both grateful and a little uneasy by the way her words began to jumble up in her mouth.

"Just tell me Qian Qian.  If you need to return, then I will take you back." he insisted as his chopsticks were lowered to the table and her hand taken into his own.

Just tell him, she thought.  So gathering a little courage, she lifted her head to look him square in the eye.

"Ye Hua.  Back then, I was so mad at you and really wanted to hurt you, so I said a lot of angry things, and some of those things I am now regretting." she said quietly and hoping that whatever good thoughts he had of her, would remain so.

"And one of those things was about being pregnant.  It just flew out of my mouth.  But the thing is, Im not actually pregnant." she said softly and finally expelling the breath she had been holding onto in relief at having finally told him.

Chuckling softly, her eyes widened in both relief and confusion because he didn't look mad, in fact she wasnt sure what the look was on his face, but he seemed to be agreeable at least.

"I know you are not pregnant Qian Qian.  I was waiting for you to tell me." he laughed at the way her body jerked back a little.

"You knew? How?"

"I can feel the Immortal essence of any child in the womb.  The moment I saw you in the den, I knew because it was the first thing my energy sought out.  I needed to know how far into the pregnancy you were before I took you out of the den, and it was then that I realized you had lied and though Im not overly happy about being lied to, I am glad you are not, because we have a little healing to do between ourselves before we can even think about starting a family." he said softly and fully putting her mind at ease.
